A new dragon was born, one with immense powers because that's how all fanfics start so why not ours.
"OH. MY. DRAGONS! THIS HATCHLING IS SO DAMN CUTE I COULD JUST SQUEEZE THE LIFE OUT OF HIM!!!"(Please read in Western accent for full effect!)
The baby dragon instantly started flapping his wings and flew circles above his mother because he's amazing and deserves to be amazing since birth.
The dragon was a hybrid cause that's literally how it always is. And to make sure that this dragon while be totally amazing and stuff, it's a nightwing/skywing hybrid.
"WE SHALL NAME THIS DRAGONET DARKFIRE!!!" Screeched the nightwing mom holding up Darkfire like how they hold up Simba in the lion king.
