Darkfire was flying around the mountains and saw a shiny pebble so he flew down to pick it up and when he did it turned blue and this old looking dragon appeared out of nowhere and randomly started speaking.
"Since this pebble turned blue you obviously have animus powers." The old dragon started to fade away and then just as Darkfire was about to turn away the old dragon pops back up again and says, "Oh and that's a dreamvisitor, you can keep it. Have fun exploring you're new found totally amazing and OP animus powers! Bye!" And then the old dragon dissapeared but no one cares since he's just an unimportant character that could fall off the moons for all we care.
Darkfire smiled and started flying back to the skywing kingdom and on his way back he said, "I enchant this dreamvisitor to appear in my talons when I say the words, 'View Dreams'." He threw the dreamvisitor into a nearby stream to make sure that it will stay safe and flew on.
Time skip to a year later
Darkfire heads out to Jade Academy.
