Chapter 4

Jadens POV
Maddy slept fine but i didn't. i felt so bad. i felt guilty. i have liked her for a while since i saw her on instagram but i didn't watch her like i should have. i need to be more carefully and take better care of her. my thoughts ended as Maddy started waking up. i got up and sat next to her and started combing through her hair with my fingers.

m - where am i? what happened?
j - you got drunk your in my room
m - at the sway house. no no no no i got to go.

Maddy started to get up

j - no no no stay here your safe

Maddy sat back down and layed down

m - ugh my head pounds
j - i'll get you some advil. do you need anything else
m - maybe some water and a snack. maybe nessa or avani if they are here
j - okay i'll be back.

Maddy layed back down and i left to go get her some stuff. i called avani and nessa up and they went in.

Maddys POV
not long after Jaden left Nessa and Avani walked in

av - hey maddy how are you
n - yeah you were pretty drunk last night
m - my head pounds but i think it's from this right ass pony tail. someone help me take it out

Nessa and Avani sat on either side of me and started pulling at my head untill the hair band came out. Nessa went and grabbed her hairbrush from downstairs and handed it to me to brush out my hair. not long after i brushed my hair and layed back down Jaden walked in with Advil, water, pop tarts and oranges.

m - omg your a lifesaver thanks
j - anything
n - were gonna go now
av - feel better
m - thanks bye

avani and nessa walk out and Jaden sits beside me

j - i feel so guilty
m - what no why
j - i just feel like if i would have taken better care of you then this wouldn't have happened
m - no Jaden stop. it was my choice to get drunk and it is not your responsibility to watch me and you need to make sure you know that
j - i know Maddy. i really like you so i feel like i need to make sure your okay.
m - i won't lie so i'm gonna tell you. i'm not okay. but that doesn't mean that i can't try to be.
j - i know but i just wish that out of all girls that this didn't happen to you
m - i know Jaden i wish the same thing too. i also wish that i told you that i really like you too.
j - really?
m - really.
j - oh um. ok
m - yeah.... crap i just made things awkward. i'm going to pretend i fall asleep now for this conversation to end.

before Jaden says something i close my eyes and pull the covers up i feel him leave the room and go down stairs

Jadens POV
as i walk out of the room i feel a feeling of shock roll over me. Maddy like me. Maddy really likes me. I thought it was just me. I walk downstairs

g - bro you okay you look like you saw a ghost
j - Maddy likes me
av - are you litterally blind. she has this whole time
a - wait isn't that a good thing. why do you look scared
j - i'm just really surprised.
g - seriously. we watched you guys make out in her hot tub of course she likes you dumb ass

i stayed silent and sat in the other room. idk why i'm so shocked. i think at this point i'm more glad than shocked.

- the day goes by and Maddy stays in bed most of the day but later that day :

I see Maddy come downstairs. she looks like she just woke up. she waves at griffin and anthony and grabs some cereal. eats it and goes back up stairs. we made eye contact but she just looked back down. i need to talk to her tomorrow. i hate that things are awkward between us.

- Maddy stays in bed for the rest of the day until about 10 PM:

i'm sitting on the couch and i hear maddy come down the stairs.

m - where is the advil
g - i'll show you

Maddys POV
i follow griffin into the kitchen and he grabs me the bottle of Advil

g - are you okay
m - bad. mentally and physically
g - i heard about Jaden
m - yeah i told him i like him since he told me he liked me and now things are totally awkard. i always mess up my relationships. always.
g - it's okay. you guys will talk and be okay soon.
m - thanks but i'm going to go back upstairs now.
g - okay sleep well

i walk up stairs and take some advil and go into Jadens bed. i can't really fall asleep since i have slept all day. eventually after a hour or two Jaden walks in and gets on the air mattress

m - is that uncomfortable
j - wdym
m - the air mattress
j - kind of but it's okay
m - no it's not there is room up here and i won't throw up all over you so come up here
j - if you insist.

Jaden comes up and i fall asleep not to much longer i fall asleep
