Maddys POV
I wake up and go on my phone. i decide to download back instagram and tiktok. i also decide to unmute all the people i muted. i get texts from days and weeks ago from nessa, avani, and all the boys. just asking if i'm okay and that they miss me. then I get to Jaden. I see texts from weeks ago

about an hour later after i'm done getting ready i hear a knock on my door. i open it and see Jaden with flowers.

j - hi
m - hi

i blush as he hands the flowers to me. and i set them on the counter. and Jaden follows me to the couch.

j - Maddy. i miss you. i realize that i really fucked up. i didn't mean it. i wanted to trust Bryce so badly and be buds again like before. i understand if you won't be able to trust me again. but i hope i can make it up to you somehow.
m - Jaden. you shouldn't have done that. the comments you made really hurt me and if made me feel unsafe. which you did promise with a ring wouldn't happen. so yes. it will take a while for me to be able to trust you again
j - and i'm willing to wait that wait. i love you Maddy

i look down.

m - you should probably go. i might come over there later
j - okay

Jaden walks out. I put on a bathing suit and put a jacket over it and i go over to the sway house.

m - pool party!

everyone goes and changes and comes out to their pool. including the girls and jaden. me and the girls lay down in the sun to tan for a little bit. then we go into the pool. Jaden starts splashing me. i start splashing him back. we are all having a lot of fun. I decide to make a tiktok with Avani and nessa jumps in at the end.

n - Maddy do a flip into the pool for my snap story
m - bet

i start running to the pool and trip. someone catches me. idk who it is but i here avani and nessa yelling "Jaddy" so i know exactly who it is. I get out of Jaden grip and pat his chest

m - thanks buddy

and i do a front flip into the pool. i get out and go to nessa

m - don't post that
n - i didn't.

we chill and make tiktoks for a little bit longer. then i go inside. it's almost 10. i sit on the couch between Avani and Jaden. we watch a movie and i let my head fall on Jaden shoulder. i feel myself getting tired.

m - i'm getting tired i'm going to go home
j - oh okay

i think he was expecting for me to stay there but i wasn't planing on that. i go home and get into bed and Peaches sits next to me

m - peaches, your dad might be coming back soon

the next day i wake up and get ready. as i'm almost finished getting ready i get a phone call from griffin

m - what do you want
g - please don't hang up maddy
m - what
g - Jaden got into a car accident come to the hospital
m - oh my god

i hang up the phone and race downstairs to grab my keys and run into my car and drive to the hospital as quickly as i can. i get there and run in and see griffin and anthony.

m - where is he
a - in surgery
g - we was going to the store. he said it was to get a gift for you
m - oh my god.

those few words made me feel like this was at least partly my fault

m - how bad is it
a - pretty bad. both cars totaled

tears come to my eyes and griffin brings me into a hug. i hug him back. i pace back and forth waiting for the doctor to come out and tell us how he is.

doctor - Mr.Hossler is out of surgery and will wake up soon.

me anthony and griffin follow the doctor to his room. i sit on one side of him and griffin and anthony sit on the other side of him. he looks really bad. he has scratches all over his body. i start crying again. i let my head drop into Jadens shoulder. soon i feel Jadens head move and i lift my head up quickly

m - Jaden!

i find his hand and hold it.

j - hey
a - how do you feel
j - not very good.

jaden says as he looks over at them. and he looks back at me.

j - i'm glad your here
m - so am i.

i squeeze his hand slightly.

a - awee
g - Jaddy!
m - shut up.

the doctor comes in

doctor - Hello Mr.Hossler.
j - hi
doctor - how are you feeling
j - sore
doctor - that's expected. you should be fine to leave tomorrow you will just need to have someone helping you with some things.
j - okay

Jaden looks over at me and i nod. the doctor leaves.

g - ight i think we are going to head out
a - yeah
m - actually i'll stay
g - okay

griffin and anthony leave the room so it's just me and Jaden. i sit on my phone while Jaden sleeps. I'm still not totally okay with him. near death situations bring people closer together though. at about 7 Jaden wakes up. i'm slowly getting tired in the chair

j - Maddy
m - yeah
j - why are you here. after all i did to you
m - i still care about you Jaden. i just don't know if i can trust you again yet
j - are you staying the night
m - that's my plan
j - okay. i'm glad

i soon fall asleep in the hospital chair
