WIN P.O.V
"Ahhhh" I yawned slamming my hand on the ever annoying alarm clock. Would that thing ever shut up?
Realising what day it was I quickly got up. "Friday!" I squealed doing my wacky little happy dance. Bright had playfully coined it "happy feet". How original.
I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. How did the week pass by so fast? I wondered. I slapped on my "kwackkkin" rabbit slippers and headed downstairs.
"Good morn- Win!' My papa cried when he saw I wasn't dressed. I rolled my eyes, munching on a bit of toast, "papa it's 6 AM school doesn't start for an hour and a half, so please please pretty please let me eat my eggs and toast in peace?" I smiled as he grumbled, and chuckled while pulling out a chair for me. My dad continued to read the newspaper, as I noticed an extra plate was set up.
Noticing my wandering eyes my papa chimed in "Perhaps you'd like to go change for your boyfriend, who's coming over in approximately" he checked his watch, "now?"
"Eh" I shrugged "Just Bright." I was pleased when my papa turned away so he wouldn't see my blush. Bright and I had never actually discussed what we were.
"He told you he loves you" JJ had said when I called him to fill his on in Bright's confession. "That should really be enough to express how he feels."
My dad tickled my knee and winked at me, breaking me out of my tance of thought. "Guess you noticed my blushing," I chuckled. "I can keep a secret" he whispered.
As if on cue, the door creaked opened. "Guess who everyone's favorite child just walked in?" Bright winked at me as I groaned. He was wearing a long sleeved white t-shirt and classic dog tags, topped with his football jersey and baggy black pants. My papa ran and gave him a hug, while my dad gave him the usual wave.
"Funny, I don't remember being related to you" I deadpanned as I walked up and punched him in his shoulder as Bright's face fell.
"Right, true that" he said dipping me, "Because if we were I wouldn't get to do this." He reached over and connected our lips together, as I grabbed his neck. Everytime we kissed it was like we were kissing for the first time, in other words... extraordinary.
SNAP
"Papaaaaa" I whined as Bright chuckled.
"Another polaroid for my collection"He sang as my dad laughed, and got up to help him in the kitchen.
"Don't you hurt my bunny" my dad threatened jokingly to Bright as my papa and him strode into the kitchen.
"I'd never" Bright smiled at me. My heart flipped.
BRIGHT P.O.V
"Alright Win you know you look amazing, but shouldn't get changed?" Win was wearing his famous rabbit slippers, and a long scrubb Tshirt that was making it hard for me not to stare at his legs. I teased him, as he rolled his eyes.
"Come on smart-ass" he pulled my hand leading me upstairs.
"Hey what about breakfast?" I whined. Uncle Gulf's food smelled amazing, and I was ready to eat.
"Later, you neanderthal." Win joked as we went to his room. I lay on his bed. He ran into the bathroom with a bunch of cloths in hand. I laughed at his cuteness.
"Don't laugh at me!" He teased from the bathroom.
"Okay..princess" I whispered back.
"Dont call me princess, i heard you moron!" He shouted as he giggled. He emerged from the bathroom in a pink sweater, jeans and red converse.
"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies" he teased, catching my slack-jawed expression.
"Very funny bunny" I came up behind him as he straightened his sweater while looking at his mirror. I enveloped his in a big bear hug from behind, feeling his perfect curves and smelling his strawberry shampoo.
He blushed. "Get off me you weirdo" He exclaimed playfully pushing me away.
"Can't." I hugged him even tighter, feeling his succumb to my hug. We sighed.
"Why don't you ever leave me alone" he playfully teased as we explored each other's eyes. His eyes were like beautiful pieces of stained glass in the sunlight, reflecting her those amazing chocolate orbs.
"It's the way you make me feel." I shot back. It was everything about the way he made me feel. The Boy I thought I'd hated, was the boy who I now loved, had loved, forever.
He blushed. "So how do I look?" He turned away from me, giving a little "Ta-da!" pose. I looked him over. His hair was perfect as ever, his lips were rosy and pink, and he looked amazing as usual.
I groaned. "Win you already know you look adorable no matter what, why even bother to ask?"
He blushed and lightly punched my shoulder. "You're my boyfriend, you're supposed to say that!"
I raised my eyebrows.

I shut my mouth immediately after I said that taking in Bright's surprised expression. Boyfriend? What were you thinking Win?
Bright got up and looked into my eyes. "Boyfriend, huh?" He smirked.
"Uhh you know, like a boy and a friend, cause you're a boy and uh, I'm a boy and you know..." I trailed off tongue-tied, watching Bright chuckle.
"No Win." He chimed in, "Boyfriend sounds good, no, it sounds really really good."
I smiled as we went downstairs. "Bright, I made you an egg fritatta, your favorite!" My papa exclaimed.
"Oh, Uncle Gulf you're the best thank you so much!" Bright's eyes lit up as he gulped it all down. I glanced at my papa, and we both burst out laughing.
"What?" Bright cocked his head, mouth half-full. I giggled.
"What's so funny bunny" he grinned stretching his arms out and coming towards me. I shrieked and hid behind my papa who chuckled.
"You two." My papa shook his head. "Now scoot! School is waiting with your names on it!"
"Bye papa" I kissed him and yelled out a 'love you' to my dad, as Bright hugged my papa and said bye as well.
We got into the car. I stared at Bright's face for a long time.
"What?" He grinned at me, "Too handsome?" He chuckled as he placed his hand over mine.
"Who knew," I started, "That all these years, from fighting in kindergarten over superheroes to putting glue in your hair, to those food fights, that we'd end up here?" Bright shot me a soft smile.
"Well bunny, there's a thin line between hate and love" Bright teased. I groaned and rolled my eyes.
Bright suddenly pulled the car in the school parking lot. We got out of the car, as he grabbed me passionately as we embraced. I thought about the times we went camping, the times where he taught me to drive, the time where he confessed he had always loved me. And it dawned on me.
I'd always had loved him too.
"I love you." We chorused at the same time looking at each other as we headed into the school.
Looking back on it, Bright was right. I did end up with the best. Who knew the boy who I thought I'd hated, would turn out to be the same boy who I loved. I glanced at Bright as he cheekily looked back at me. I grinned.
There really is a thin line between hate and love after all.
