Chapter 1

Roman's POV
" Hello other hero's, I hope you are ready to meet the new roommate" I waltz into the living room with my prince voice little did I know that this was the day the secret got out. Suddenly there was a knock at the door, " I'll get it!" Patton ran to the door and opened it with the biggest smile possible showing his gleaming white teeth " Patton I would warn the-" "HIIIIII!!!!!!!" Patton cut Logan off, I looked at him with one of those 'what did you expect' look. The new roommate flinch at the yelling making her fall down with a thump "oh my god! I am so so so so sorry, are you alright here let me help you!" "No! I mean I'm fine really" she said the 'I'm fine' while doing something weird with her hand it was spread out with her thumb touching the middle of her chest. " do you know sign, and wh-" Logan cut himself off when he was looking at her "I'm sorry but are you at the right apartment miss" " ummm this is number 217 right?" She said it with the most sarcastic tone I've heard all day god it was even more sarcastic then Logan " what did you expect a guy?" We all stood there frozen just looking at her.

"Well yes it is apartment 217 why don't you come in, do you want any help with your bags or anything" " no I'm alright thanks, but where would my room be?" She replied to Patton while me and Logan were still frozen staring at her, I think my mouth was open because she walked up to me and pushed my jaw up "hey is there any way to stop your boyfriends from staring or will they just stay like that... oh! And my name is Lia nice to meet you I'm guessing you're Patton." She said while turning around to Patton and holding out a hand to shake he was now in a trance of shock as well but quickly snapped out of it "umm uh..... yeah I am Patton and umm oh um me Logan and Roman aren't dating we're just good friends. Your room is down the hall to the far left with the light purple door," and with that she left with a nod.

Time skip to after Lia put away all her stuff in her room and decorated it.

" Hey Roman what 'cha up to?" Patton asked walking over to see me scrolling on my phone laying with my back on the couch " Patton it is actually said what are you doing " Logan was in an armchair, " ok well if we aren't doing anything maybe we could patrol the city together I mean we don't know if Anxiety or light shadow will show up and I really need to go fly for a bit I know we have a new roommate but I think she's still unpacking plus she might have work later today!" "Patton I know you want to go flying but what if she catches us and if she doesn't have work today what if she doesn't even work, it's too risky plus you can go fly off the top of the building." I say putting down my phone to look at him I then see Lia standing in the arch way that leads to the hallway and down to our rooms, she had a look of shock on her face with a trace of fear she spotted me looking at her with my pale face I was in so much shock I just sat there frozen looking at her "um guys I think she knows" " and how would she Roman she I-" Logan cut himself off looking at her is well now Patton look in her direction now but she's gone we hear a door close and the sound of someone locking it is well we take a glance at each other before running down to her room, I go to try and open it with no luck so I use my power to summon a key to unlock the door. " Let us in Lia!!!" We heard nothing in reply to Logan demand only the sound of really loud and heavy breaths I unlock the door and open it to see Lia just staring at us " y-yo-you're th-the hero's"
