Minho and Peichen had still been spending a considerable amount of time together, (not at the expense of Jisung) much to Hyunjin's demise.

Neither of them were trying to make Hyunjin upset, Peichen simply found comfort in the senior boy, especially after being rejected by her crush.

They were seated at the back of an empty classroom, Minho helping the younger with her homework.

It made Minho feel the slightest bit guilty, because he knew how the time he and Peichen spent together was affecting his best friend, but how could he turn down her every time she asks to hang out?

He pushed the thoughts to the side, focusing on the struggling girl beside him, but what kind of chapter would this be without some drama? [rama]

Hyunjin coincidentally strolled past the classroom, stopping dead in his tracks as he peeked through the window, squinting at the two sitting inside.

They had their backs turned to him, shoulders touching as they sat at the table. Hyunjin watched in horror as Minho leaned in, his eyes presumably locked with Peichen's. He couldn't tell, but he knew they were getting closer by the second.

He quickly turned away, knowing he wouldn't be able to handle it if he watched any longer. How could Minho do that to m- Jisung? I thought they were in love?

And he felt the slightest pang of anger, not at Minho, no, but at Peichen. Why did she say she had a crush on me if she's here with Minho? Did she lie - and if she did, for what?

Hyunjin had had enough, speed walking to his next class with a scowl on his face, which immediately softened when he stepped into his math class to see Jisung, Seungmin and Felix sitting together, Jeongin seated nearby presumably doing his homework.

Guilt flooded his systems. How could he talk to Jisung, who had so much love and adoration for Minho, knowing that the older had just kissed another.

But.. why did it bother him more that it was with Peichen? Why did he care so much that she kissed Minho- and then it hit him.

It hit him like a punch in the gut, an uppercut in case you were curious. He likes Peichen.

His soul left his body for a hot second, quickly returning when Seungmin's voice interrupted him.

"Hyunjin? Are you coming to sit or what?"

Said boy looked up with alarmed eyes, making his way to sit with the other 4. "What's wrong with you?" Felix asked, raising a brow.

"Uhm- nothing.." He dismissed, avoiding eye contact. He tried to ignore the stares boring through his skull.

"Don't bullshit me, what's wrong?" He repeated.

Should I tell them? He asked himself. They were his best friends, but he didn't know how they would react.

"Okay fine. I um.." They looked at him expectantly.

"Ihaveacrushonpeichen." He said, so so quietly that the three whom were listening barely caught it.

They just stared blankly, Seungmin sinking back into his seat. "That's what you said last year."

Hyunjin furrowed his brows, having no recollection of what they were talking about, but seeing as the others agreed he assumed he just forgot, because he does that more than you'd expect.

"Ok but.. but this time it's real!" He promised, watching as they exchanged glances.

"Well.. if you're sure, then I say go for it!" Jisung said, giving him a thumbs up. Their conversation was cut short when the classroom door opened, Minho followed by the teacher stepping in.

The students quickly made their way to their respective seats, Hyunjin taking his seat behind Minho, next to the windows.

He couldn't help but glare at the older boy in front of him, thoughts racing in his head.

He was hurt, obviously. He couldn't necessarily blame him for kissing specifically Peichen, because Minho of course didn't know about the younger's newfound feelings, but he was sure as hell pissed in Jisung's place.

Hyunjin knew that Minho wasn't that kind of person, but maybe.. maybe he was wrong?
