Chapter 2

The first day of the event(?)

Younghoon POV

At around 7am in the morning, the gates opened, making everyone who wants to marry me, come in. Jacob and the rest reached my area at around 6am so we just chilled out at my room.

The first task began as I began speaking with everyone. The first 10 people came and we had a few conversations and only 3 people passed. The next 10 came in and 7 people passed. That continued for another 2 hours before we went to the next stage, at a plain room. Jacob and Kevin spoke in English, Juyeon and Sangyeon in Japanese. Most of them failed and among the 600 people that passed in the first round, only 200 remained.

In the third round, I told the citizens to make a dish. As soon as they finished, they gave it to us by placing it on the table. We each tasted and eliminated people since their style of food weren't our taste. In that 200 people, only 90 remained.

The fourth round was performing arts skills. People had to either sing, dance, act, play an instrument, anything that's related to performing arts. In there, most people couldn't really do any of it, leaving 8 people for the final stage.

The final stage was babysitting... And oh gawd, I saw them taming the children and oh gosh... I'd hate to say it but they were so bad at it, I eliminated them straight away.

"EVERYONE FAILED?!" Kevin exclaimed as I nodded. "O..M..G and its like 1pm already." Kevin said. "Come on... We still have to do it like another 2 more times and we're done for the day I think." I told Kevin as we headed back, letting the guards open the gate again, making everyone come in. The same thing repeated for the entire day... As well as on Tuesday.

At the end of Tuesday, all of us were dead tired. "Younghoon ah... Can you even find a suitable person?" Sangyeon asked as I pouted. "I don't knowww~!" I whined. "Come on, we still have tomorrow as a final day. Let's give it our best." Jacob said as Juyeon nodded. "You know what, can yall just stay here tonight?" I asked them. They looked at each other before smiling. "Sure!" They said in unison. "But can we borrow some clothes?" Juyeon asked.

"Yeah sure. I have those animal pajamas though. We can wear that." I said. "COOL BRO! Imma check out which one I want. Jacob come with me." Kevin said, pulling Jacob to my wardrobe. They took out all the animal pajamas and Kevin chose the Panda one while Jacob chose the unicorn. Juyeon, Sangyeon and I went to choose as well and we went to change.

After changing, we laid down on the bed. Juyeon, wearing a minion pajamas while Sangyeon wearing a cow pajamas. We talked until like 1 am, and then fell asleep on my bed. Yes, it must have fit all 5 people.

The next day

We got up at around 5 am, showered and changed to our clothes. By 7am, we were all prepared for our last day. As soon as the gates opened, people once again, came rushing in as we began our last day.

Changmin POV

As soon as the gate opened, almost everyone rushed in the palace. Jeez do they really wanna get married to him?

30 minutes later, the gate closed as I went around the city to look before heading back to the Palace. And yes, I didn't went in cause why not? I get to choose if I should go in or not. At around 11am, my stomach started rumbling as I bought some food, sushi and bread to be exact. I sat down as I munched my food away until 12pm, when the door to the palace opened again and this time, I went in. I went in the first room and waited for the prince to come to me and start a conversation. As soon as he came towards me, I introduced.

"Good afternoon, sir. My name is Ji Changmin. I'm pleased to meet you." I then showed him a smile as he nodded. "What do you do for a living?" He asked. "I don't really do much at home since my friends insist me on not going out that much." I told him. "You live together with your friends? How are they like? Where's your parents?" He asked as I hesitated for a short while before speaking. "Yes I live together with my friends. They're all very kind to me, although sometimes they are very hectic and I have to silence them. As for my parents... They're not here at the moment. They have some business to attend." I lied at the last point. He nodded before saying,"You pass. Let's go to the next room." I then went to the next room, where I saw 4 more boys.
