Great Teacher Forth (Complete)

Last Class

 "What about Beam?"  New look at Forth.

 Forth shows the results of the first, second and third test Beam.

 "Wow," said New, seeing his son's development.

 "It's not wrong if I choose you," said New, patting Forth on the shoulder.

 Forth did not smile

 "I didn't do anything, sir. He wasn't even in my class," Forth said honestly.  New laughed and put down Beam's assignment paper.

 "I know," he said, patting Forth's hand

 "But ... it takes more than just a teacher to get him interested in mathematics," New said.

 Forth doesn't know whether he should be happy or feel disappointed.

 "Do you know why I chose you?"  asked New

 Forth shook his head

 "It's not because you are the smartest one, no" New said "but only you can influence his life" said New.

 Forth was silent

 "Do you remember?"  said New.  He pulled out a photo from his wallet.  

 "I used to take Beam to an orphanage before my deceased wife died," he said, offering me the photo.  Forth studied the photo in front of him.  He still remembers Beam back then.  The innocent and cute Beam is sleeping on his shoulder.

 "He likes to cry. He doesn't like crowds. Even his mother can not control him" New smiled as he looked at the photo.

 "But only with the touch of your hand" New looked at Forth closely "He was silent" 

 Forth smiled.  He remembers how Beam wouldn't let him go every time he had to leave the orphanage.

 "He might not remember you but you always have a big influence on his life" New patted Forth's shoulder.

 Forth looked at New closely.  A big smile spread on his face.

 "Thank you, sir. For entrusting me," said Forth.

 "No. I should be the one thanking you. Because of you, I changed him," said New.

 Beam slams the book in his hand when Phana shows the results of the test he gave.

 "I think you are even better than the current kit," Phana said disappointed.  It means he lost his slave.  He enjoyed how Beam followed his will for two weeks.

 Kit pouted "Impossible" he said he would not accept.

 Beam smiled proudly.

 "It's time for revenge," he said, clenching his fist.

 Phana and Kit looked at Beam in surprise.  They don't know who made Beam so excited.  Not just Mathematics, Beam is now even listening to all the other lessons.  His name is now perched under Phana on the results of semester I exams.

 "Tell me, why do you want to learn mathematics so badly?"  asked Phana

 Beam snorted but he didn't say anything.

 "I just want to enter medical school. With you," Beam said.

 Phana and Kit looked at Beam suspiciously.  Even with a mediocre mathematical value, Phana and Kit believe Beam can pass Cassetric Medicine.  After all, he was the son of New Baramee.  His father would easily make him graduate even with a mediocre value.  But Beam paid no heed to the gazes of his friends.  He can't wait to end this day so he can meet Forth tomorrow.
