Tine found out Sarawat's past love, an unrequited love that he never told but now, it's a different story. Pam told Sarawat that the feeling was mutual. Tine saw it and describing it as painful was an understatement. It was heart wrenching. For Tine, it was probably the most terrifying feeling he ever felt in all of his relationship. Sarawat was his first man and probably the first one he has ever invested so much feelings into.
Sarawat saw Tine packing some of his clothes and things when he arrived in their love nest.
"Tine what are you doing?"
The cheerleader was not answering him. "Tine. Tine!" Sarawat held Tine's arm when he was about to leave.
Tine's eyes were filled with agony, anger and pain. His eyes were swollen.
"This is your chance now. Your song is not mine."
The tall cheerleader left their room. Sarawat wasn't able to talk when he saw how hurt Tine was. He promised never to put Tine's smiles away but all he saw was tears.
Tine went to Fong's place to crash. His friend was startled to see him in front of his dorm room but upon seeing the miserable state of his friend, he didn't question him anymore.
"Did you have a fight?" Fong carefully asked Tine who was just sitting and staring blankly while sitting in Fong's bed.
Tine didn't answer for a long time. Fong decided to just scroll on his phone. After a few minutes he heard soft sobs coming from his friend. Fong turned his head and sighed.
"If this made you cry like this, then I assume this was not just a simple fight. You never cried like this even if you broke up with your ex girlfriends." He sat down beside Tine and patted his shoulder. The cheerleader squirmed and hugged the pillow on his arms tightly.
"She's back to claim what's hers from the start. No one can ever compete with a first love, right?"
"A first love cannot be compared to anyone but, if your present surpassed your first love, don't you think it's worth keeping the present than going back to the past?"
Tine sniffed again. He looked at Fong. "But what if your unrequited love was reciprocated? Isn't it a perfect story?"
"Did you even ask if that was the story he wanted?"
Tine tilted his head.
Fong sighed. "Let's just wait first what will Sarawat do. Listen but try to keep calm for now, nothing will be solved if you're being controlled by your emotions."
Tine nodded his head. Fong's words gave him clarity. The two shared a meal that night with silence.
When they were about to sleep, they heard a loud bang on the door. Fong already has an idea who it was though. He looked at Tine and sighed then went to the door to open it. Sarawat was standing there.
