ALEC's POV

HILTON OXFORD is very talented, highly intelligent, and is known to be an influential man. That is what he wants you to think. Looks may deceive you, words will manipulate you, and actions would lead you to your death. Signing a contract with or following his orders will put you in a trance nevermore again would you obtain freedom.

The omnipotent power he conveys is hiding things away from everyone. He hides every information that would tear him apart. The concealed information destroys his reputation and takes him down. Although he may have done a great job drawing things out of sight, we have managed to acquire data and hack into some records.

He is undoubtedly a smart man but a murderer. The Mephistopheles always gets what he wants. A monster who obliterates families and takes happiness away from you.

Darkness was one thing I could see from his deep black eyes. Although the caliginous room only had a few lamps surrounding the place.

It did not lack in providing me just enough to see his heart-shaped face, sharp jawline, pinkish like lips that were in a thin line and wrinkled skin above his forehead and dry cheeks. He has a tan complexion like he just came back from a summer vacation in January.

"Welcome to Prix academy, Mr. Alexander Maxuel Montgomery."

His raspy voice was enough to send chills down my spine. Yet I already prepared myself not to fume up whenever I meet him.

Hilton Oxford, a king that never gets his hands dirty nevertheless a murder.

He was my father's best friend until his wife passed away. He decided to move to Canada with his sons.

Hearing he was the cause why dad is dead left my family in shock. Anger developed a murderous aura around us. We never wanted revenge until we found out that he was also after my sister, Roxy.

They thought they finally won by killing my dad and abducting my sister. What they did not know is Roxanne managed to escape and killed whoever was within reach. She knew that the number of dead bodies was exposed would stop them from investigating. With that, she had to burn the warehouse where she was held captive.

Leaving one body after another, Roxanne that was only ten-years-old at that time did this all by herself. A little background check that you should have known is never underestimate a Montgomery.

At such a young age, Roxy had killed five persons known to be dangerous and armed. Since the incident, our people have had high expectations from her. We trained hard to meet mother's expectations until she barely didn't care about it anymore.

Roxy is a sweet and loving sister before this man's wrongdoings ruined her life. She lost herself.

Not only did he caused a lot of commotion he but he destroys other people's lives. Commanding assassins to take people's lives to those who go against his own will. He manages to slaughter them one by one. Even if it meant killing some of his troops and demolishing his organization, he would not think twice about killing them.

"I was expecting the last Montgomery to come and fight for his brother."

So you knew? I thought to myself. I looked at him straight in his pitch-black pupils without blinking and full of conviction. I tried to have a blank and unreadable expression similar to the one I practiced at home. What I then said would make me regret saying it soon.

"You mean Xavier, my not such of a brother? Hahaha...I'm here to replace him. He was such a disgrace to our family. Why do you think our lives move on so easily? You haven't received any news from my family grieving his death anyway. What makes you think I would leave my responsibilities for him?"
