Cheonsa's POV

"Where is the weekly report, Sun Yi?!" I yelled on the phone. There's a lot of pressure in our workplace today but thank Aphrodite, the beauty I possess doesn't worn out. "I need the sales report within an hour!" I hanged up on the phone.

I buzzed in my secretary, Hoseok. He's older than me but duh, I'm the boss. He slowly walked in with his shades on and started posing side by side on my spacious office.

I looked at him, "Careful. Everything here is expensive. If you want to work of me of hundreds of years, you can break one of those." I pointed the vases I bought from Rome and Italy.

He removed his shades and gave me the finally pose. I face palmed. I didn't know why I hired him in the first place, "So are you gonna ask me why I summoned you or are you normal?"

He then straightens his posture, "What can I do for you, your excellency?" he said with a funny accent.

"Follow up Sun Yi and her team with the sales report, I'm well aware that the company is paying them right and I hoped that she does her best. Tell her, I'm gonna fire her if the reports aren't in my table by 12." I said, "Also tell Mr. Yang to write the notes of the meeting well! I can't read it. I was so kind of giving him this ONE JOB that supposedly was yours but I guess he's not worthy. Tell him to pack his things now!"

"Ma-ma'am?" Hoseok uttered, "but he needs the job.. his daughter is sick."

I read other paper in my desk, "Do you want to lose yours as well?"

"N-no, ma'am." Hoseok replied, "Is that all?"

I placed the papers I'm reading and nodded. He left my office and I stood up to think. The view up here is really pretty. Despite having a nice office, that's full of expensive things.. What no? Do you really think I'll say despite having all this money, I don't have a MAN-ey. Lol. Dad jokes.

This is life, people!! Buying expensive things, telling people what to do and sitting in a big chair. I stood their for a few minutes and then Mr. Yang came in without a knock.

"PLEASE, MA'AM. I REALLY NEED THIS JOB!" He was on his knees, sobbing. The door was wide open and the other employees stopped. I slowly walked and sat on the sofa near him.

"I guess when you lost your job, you also lost your dignity and respect. How brave of you to barge in my office in that energy." I crossed my legs. "Did you really think, that your whinning will win you back the job?"

"PLEASE MA'AM. MY DAUGHTER IS SICK." He pleaded once more.

"And what am I going to do about it? I am a businesswoman, not a doctor." I raised my eyebrows, "HOSEOK!! Call security and the janitors. There's a huge dirt in my office."

I heard the employees murmuring. They probably sympathize him. I don't understand why people use their emotions when dealing with work. Business is business. I started reviewing the my paperworks again and revising some contracts too. These people are so illiterate. By 12, Sun Yi came in. "Here's the sales report in the format you liked, ma'am." She handed me the folder.
