Jane winced as she propped herself up against the wall. A slow steady glow flakes in her silver eyes as she focused on healing herself. She didn't care how long it took to be able to get up, by the time she did the room had grown significantly colder.

The slick walls looked to be of an old cellar of someone's. Obviously, had spent its time in significant disrepair for decades. Each drop of water that fell on her was a breath of the cool night. She sat with her legs folded under her with a soft glowing sphere. When boots echoed against the tunnels halls, her eyes darted to the door and she silently got up. The door swung open and Jane bolted towards whomever as behind it.

Her fist collided with a palm of a clean cut man in a suit. His own glowing purple spheres made her stomach churn. Jane's expression scrunched up further as her arm and an eye coated itself in blackness. Knocking him back a few paces the guard lunged at her. Her opposite hand that wasn't sealed in darkness, lifted up, the darkness disappeared, and a cyan blast with a strong stream of white knocked him to the ceiling. A hole was left in the human muscle that was beyond revival.

Jane fell to the ground and scrambled to a wall as her eyes locked on the pooling blood. Strings of her hair hung in her vision but she was too petrified to do something about it. Even as the other figure loomed over, Jane just choked on her sobs.

"Looks like you already answered a few of my questions." He purred carefully into her ear as he pinned her short hair behind it. Scooping her up quickly and entered a nearby modern elevator.

The wide stare she kept as her heartbeat quickened. She let out a breath slowly while closing her eyes. When Jane opened them she was on a couch in a spacious office. Bookshelves lined two walls with a third full of monitors. The suit man was sitting on a chair infront of the desk.

She could feel her fingers as the hairs on Jane's neck sticked up. Her first reaction was to test if she could infuse her hands. Balling them up a strong blue charge grew them disappeared when she found it satisfactory. It wasn't a fluke. Jane could feel the peak of interest of this person hovering over her like a cloud.

"I could kill you." She barely whispered but with hate buried underneath it.

He chuckled lightly as though it was a joke. "But you aren't, especially after one of the worse cases of burnout I've seen and had someone recover. You are quite the resilient thing."

Jane scoffed. "Why did one of your henchmen nab me?" Her eyes followed this man as she fingered through the books with a gentle touch. "Maybe this will teach you not to kidnap girls."

"Gifted people, my dear." He corrected her. "Who do I owe the pleasure of meetinogigearly, you aren't mine, so, who's are you?"

Jane dashes quickly to slam him into the nearest bookshelf. Her blue eyes glowed violently. "I don't own to anyone." She dropped him. "Phantom created me." Her eyes turned back to silver.

"Don't worry, you'll be branded soon enough." He said while straightening his suit. Suddenly his violet rings covered the rest of his iris. "I am Nicholas Wellwood, owner of this fine institution."

Jane couldn't move an inch. Charging an attack was as far as she got to free movement. Nicholas on the other hand had a malicious smile curling on the corners of his mouth. His eyes pierced something deep inside of Jane that was buried deep. He could feel the panic rise in her as he struck a cord. Suddenly, through a burning aura outlining her hand that spread, Jane stumbled out of his hold. She looked shocked as Nicholas seemed so calm about it.

"Quite the interesting fears, Phantom, like the creative name, I take it wasn't as generous in its hospitality. They threw you out and you wanted that to happen to take data right from their nose. You're more clever than I thought." He remarked at her ability to collect and build a database on many. "I'm not going to hurt you my little Rabbit. All that I want is to talk."
