Chapter Two - Hanako~San of the Lake

"So, are you going to do it?"

"Are you going to make a wish?"

It was the end of the school day and the bell had rung. Soon, students were going to leave and head home but Yashiro had other plans in mind.

"Nene~chan, are you going right now?" Aoi had finished packing her things and headed over to her friend's direction.

"Yeah! Oh and please don't wait for me! I might take a while." Yashiro was smiling, excited that she was going to make her wish come true. At least, she hoped.

Yashiro was almost done packing when Aoi said that she would begin to head start heading home and left with Akane after giving Yashiro a piece of paper. 'What's this?'  Yashiro held out the paper and opened it. It had more details of Hanako~San's appearance. She held to the paper tightly as she read. She knew it was valuable information but it was odd that Aoi knew what Hanako would look like. Of course, Yashiro being Yashiro, she didn't pay much attention to that and only focused on what she wanted her wish to be.

'Alright. I guess I better get going.'  Yashiro began to head over towards the old middle school building. She never liked the feeling it gave her. The building looked like it could fall apart at any moment but she knew that wasn't true. It had been abandoned for many years ever since two students had died. The victims were never revealed but it was said that one of the two boys that had died, had bruises and injuries while the other only had a stab in the heart. Not many people knew about that. She had heard it from one of the girls in the gardening club. Hesitantly, Yashiro walked all the way to the front door and slowly opened it. She was amazed by what she saw.

Yashiro was expecting the inside to look all run down and falling apart, so she never expected anything as what she saw. The inside was clean and looked liked from one of those movies where the main character lives in a mansion, but at least they didn't have the lockers in front. The room didn't look realistic. It looked like something from a fantasy. She wanted to look around more but knew she wouldn't have the time. 'Maybe I can come back again sometime!' Yashiro thought as she walked towards the back door looking at the paper Aoi had given her.

'What if... What if the outside is the same as the inside!?'  Yashiro slowly opened the door. She had never seen much of the back of the building since it was closed off and even from a distance, you could see the fence above the trees. From the outside it didn't look like much. There were a lot of trees surrounding the area so you couldn't see the inside even if you tried really hard and for some reason if you looked at a map, the place wouldn't appear.

As Yashiro opened the door. She was glad to see it looked just as beautiful as the inside. Maybe even more beautiful. There weren't many trees located around the center but they looked like cherry blossoms in spring. It wasn't their time yet so Yashiro suspected them to be another type of tree.

As she walked more into the forest, she noticed a lake. It wasn't that large but it was sure deep. Deep enough to reach the center and not be close to the bottom. There were many fishes inside and you could see everything. The water was clear as clean glass which made it even more fascinating. There was a stone located in the center so she knew it was that place where the wish needed to be made.

Quickly, Yashiro looked around to see if she could find some kind of small boat or a raft. She found the small boat and rushed towards it, climbing onto it and finding the oar. She had no experience when it came to rowing a boat but somehow managed. Soon, she reached the center and began her "summoning ritual".

"Hanako~San, Hanako~San... Are you there?"

Yashiro placed her hands together and slowly closed her eyes.

Small clarification! Italics  mean actions. 'Italicized'  words like that are thoughts and words that are "italicized"  like that are an unknown character speaking. I'm mostly going to be using them for new or current MAIN characters. Hoped that somewhat explained how I used italics.

Also.. I will try to update a chapter every Monday (Might be Tuesday for some people). I'm also not that good at drawing but I'll try to make a sketch so you can get a clean image on Hanako's appearance for the next chapter. I'LL TRY.

Heheh.. I wasn't that creative here. I tried to write what came to mind for this chapter.
