Hina and Sayo's relationship

Right off the bat, I don't like Sayo and I don't particularly care for Hina.

Hina's entire character development hinges on her twin sister to the point that she's barely even her own character.  At least Sayo gets other things, even if it isn't much at all. Their development is so codependent.

And all of their events are fundamentally the same too. Hina wants to hang out with Sayo. Sayo says no. Then they learn that they should have a positive familial relationship. And then it resets for the next time the writers want to beat their dynamic into the ground. this might be me just hating Sayo, but I hate that she has the gall to wish her relationship with Hina wasn't so bad.

I get that Sayo is like "Hina is so good and I'll never be as good as her I hate her because I'm jealous u_u" but like??? I relate to having an inferiority complex stemming from family problems, totally, but how the fuck does that dominate your relationship with your twin to the point that you refuse to hang out with her at all when she's not abusive, or abrasive, or intentionally hurting you?!

Literally communication would work wonders for these too but here we are.

Speaking of Hina

I'm gonna need the bandori writers to stop writing Hina as if she's in love with her sister.

Stop with the weird blushing

Stop with the weird blushing

Stop with the blushing and the dreamy eyes and the pink sparkly lovey dovey background when she's talking about her sister

And for Sayo, getting flustered and awkward around your own sister is the same mistake Frozen's writers made, and that made Elsanna a popular ship within the fandom, so maybe we should stop doing that entirely? Am I the only one who finds this wei...

And for Sayo, getting flustered and awkward around your own sister is the same mistake Frozen's writers made, and that made Elsanna a popular ship within the fandom, so maybe we should stop doing that entirely? Am I the only one who finds this weird??? I have a sister myself and I can't imagine what the writers were thinking with this.

And yes I'm aware that I used screenshots from garupa pico and the canonicity of that is kinda nonexistent as far as I know, but seriously?

This is nasty and the fact that this ship is so popular concerns me
