Chapter 5
Katelyn's POV
I pushed through the double doors of the school and walked to class. It had been two weeks since I joined the school and Jhonny and his troops has said nothing about the gang. I was getting restless, and not because of the pop quiz for History today. If something didn't happen to introduce me to the gang, I had to take matters onto myself.
Suddenly a guy pushed past me, knocking my books in the process. He turned around for a split second and glared at me. Then he ran to the end of the hallway and exited the school. I narrowed my eyes. It was Aaron, one of the senior gang members. He was a tall muscled guy who had a sick fascination with wearing muscle shirts and showing off his tats. He was known as the ruthless teen in the gang. The youngest member that had killed and was good enough to deal with the black business they dealt with.
My informer had given me all the info on almost all the gang, except for the select few who were too high up in the food chain. I heard footsteps come behind me and recognized it as Jhonny's tread. I knew he was one of the junior members and handled minor drug conflicts and to rough up the town where it concerned the gang.
I felt a hand on my shoulder."Hey, you okay? I saw what Aaron did." He said. I swung my gaze towards him. "Yeah, im okay. Its not like he scares me." I crouched to pick up my books. He dropped down next to me. "Yeah, well your pretty stupid to not get scared." I glared at him. "Im not stupid, especially when a dumb buff guy comes barging right into me." I straightened up and fixed the black plaid shirt I was wearing. "Dumb?!" He said incredulously. "You're too funny. You don't know what that guy is capable of." I raised an eyebrow. "If he isn't dumb, how did I manage to snag his gun from him?" I said as I smirked, and held up a black handgun. Jhonny's mouth dropped.

That afternoon Jhonny took me into town, along with the boys. Jhonny had interrogated me about the gun and had warned me to never mess with Aaron. When I started to ask why, he just asked me why I wasn't afraid of a gun. Then I told him my cover story."Before coming here, I was in a gang in Florida. Guns are like a toy to me. Im totally comfortable with them." I had said, purposefully vague. "What did you do in the gang? What role did you play?" I smirked. This was the time to tell them how good I am. "You know, the usual." I said shrugging my shoulders. "What is the usual?" I could tell he was getting annoyed at my vagueness. The others were shifting on their feet. I internally smirked. If I wasn't vague, they would start getting suspicious. It was better to be vague so they can think they are ahead, while the whole time, they were the ones being played. Then I looked him dead in the eye and spoke. " I was second in command to the 4th fiercest gang in the U.S., the Black Night Blood gang, BNB for short. And I know you don't beleive me since im only a teen, but I was. And I don't need to prove myself to anyone either." They went quiet. I smirked. I had won.
Jhonny later on told me that he wanted to hang out and didn't give me much room to argue. I didn't say anything either because my instincts told me that this was it. He knew I was in a gang. He knew I was good enough to be in his gang. It was just a matter of time i joined it. "So where are we going?" I asked. I was currently in between Jhonny and Spencer, while mike rode shotgun, and Ric sat behind the drivers wheel. We were in a black Honda civic while the rest of the group rode in another black car behind us which held Alex,
Tommy, bitch Kelly and a few of her slutty freinds. "Just downtown to Dixon's. Its a place where we all hang out." He was being purposefully vague. But I decided not to dwell on it. This was a test and im sure as hell going to pass it.
