registration, first period and second period flew by quickly, much to felix's delight.
the break of the school day was like the gates of heaven opening, except he still had to stay on school grounds. it didn't really matter though because there was a cafe on campus, which meant he could still go buy some good old korean bubble tea.
they sell that shit in australia too and, man, he loved it so much. so, with a bounce in his step and headphones in his ears, the blonde walked through campus towards the cafe. upon arrival, he noticed that a few of his classmates were there already.
he greeted those who noticed him with a kind smile before approaching the counter and asking for a pink bubble tea, earning a confused look from the student who was working there. clearly, students take up part-time jobs on campus as they're only allowed to leave every 15 days.
"you want... bubble tea?" she asked, an eyebrow raised as she looked him up and down. but, before he could answer, she giggled. "don't worry, i'm only joking. your drink will be ready in a moment!"
letting out a sigh of relief, he nodded and waited by the counter. once he was called over and had his drink in his hand, he ventured back to his dorm for the rest of his 20-minute break. little did he know, things wouldn't be anywhere near as laid back as they had been today.

"you're a real jackass, you know?" felix mocked the blonde in front of him, "i hope that changes one day."
sighing as he walked through the dark campus grounds, the freckled boy remembered the argument he had with none other than han jisung earlier that day. during fifth period, home economics, some poor kid had spilt some milk on the aforementioned asshole.
jisung basically threw a fit and yelled at the guy, threatening to punch him. already pissed off at how this guy was acting, felix decided to step in and stand up for him.
"it was an accident! why can't you just accept apologies? seriously, what the fuck?" felix asked angrily, stepping in front of the boy who spilt the milk. the elder had rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, looking down at him.
"so what if it was an accident?" he spat back, "he still did it."
stepping closer, the freckled boy looked him in the eyes. "you're a real jackass, you know? i hope that changes one day." "the fuck-"
"i'm not saying these things just to spite you. i'm saying them because i hate seeing people act the way you do. no one is this horrible without a past that molded them this way. so, please, will you just shut the fuck up and get on with what you were doing?"
smirking as he remembered how he handled the situation, the blonde continued his trek. he had snuck out of his dorm at about 2 in the morning in order to get some food. after all, the majority of students were either in bed or hanging out in the lounge with the other annoying dickheads.
but, soon enough, the aussie realised he was lost. he really shouldn't be wandering the streets in a country he barely knows at night.
sigh. what an idiot.
"get him."
"wha-"
"just do it, fucker."
felix didn't even have time to react to the whispers from somewhere to his left before a hand grasped over his mouth and another wrapped tightly around his waist, pulling him backwards. his fight or flight response kicked in, resulting in him flailing his limbs around and trying to break free.
but their hold was strong. he didn't stand a chance.
suddenly, he had a gag in his mouth and was on the concrete floor of a pitch-black alleyway. tears in his eyes as he looked up, the boy met eyes with two pairs of dark ones. the men wore creepy smiles as one crouched down in front of him, a small knife in his hand.
felix gulped. "ah, look at you. practically begging at my knees for your life." okay, now that was just bullshit. lee felix doesn't beg. he orders.
just saying.
"hmm, i wish i could spare you..." he trailed his bruised and cut up finger along the edge of the blade, "but i can't find a way i could. what a shame." his eyes widening, the boy on the ground automatically reached and grabbed the knife by the blade as the man lunged towards his throat.
it cut through the skin on his hands so harshly, but he didn't pay any mind. if it meant keeping it away from his neck then so be it. the man raised an eyebrow with a smirk, trying to push the knife further. but felix held strong.
like hell he was going to die in an alleyway to a bunch of bandits.
suddenly, there was blood spilling from the necks of the man's two accomplices. they both tried to scream but only gagged, dropping to the floor as they clutched at the slits in their throats. felix refused to let go of the blade despite the searing pain burning through them. despite the thick, deep red blood dripping down between his knuckles and his wrists.
luckily, he didn't have to keep holding on anymore. because, thank god, the neck of the man who held the knife was now snapped. his body fell limp onto the concrete, his hands now empty. there, in the dark, stood a figure.
"get up."
despite the confusion of why this man saved him, felix brought himself to his feet. his hands stung and his throat was dry from the gag in his mouth, but he was just glad to be alive. moving closer and into the light, he finally got a view of who just saved his live.
han jisung.
"you're bleeding," jisung said straight up, looking down at the wounded hands of his supposed enemy. he gently grabbed his wrist and pulled him out of the alleyway, leading him back in the direction of the school campus.
the walk was silent until the elder glanced over and realised there was a gag in felix's mouth. "shit, let me get that. sorry," he said as he pulled it out and tossed it to the ground, continuing to walk.
although lee felix was in pain, and a panic attack was on the horizon, he felt safe.
for the first time in a long time.

anyway, jisung is our lord and savior, lets pray to him :)
