"Lennon Grace!" I hear my aunt Kelly call.

"What?!?!"

"Come on! You're going to be late for your meeting at UCLA!"

Ok, it's only 8 AM and my meeting is at 10 AM and we are literally staying in a hotel that is 10 minutes from campus. How does she think we are going to be late? See, my aunt Kelly is such a sweet person but ever since my parents died 3 years ago she has been way too overprotective of me. Trust me, I get it but that doesn't mean it isn't annoying as fuck. I wish she would just let me handle things on my own sometimes you know? After all, I do start school in 3 weeks at UCLA; my dream school. I still can't believe that it's actually happening. But, with my grades and my cheerleading scholarship, we were able to afford it.

"I'm coming geez Kell it's only 8!"

-----------------------------------------------------------

Once we pull up to the campus I am reminded of how beautiful it really is. There isn't much to see back in Georgia in the small town that I'm from so this is a lot to take in. I can't help but wonder what all this year will bring. Ever since my parents died it's been really hard for me to keep friends. That's one thing that I'm really good at; pushing people out of my life. Why get close to someone if you're just going to end up losing them? Nope, not for me.

We parked in front of the gymnasium where I'm sure I'll be practicing for cheer. As we are walking in my aunt tells me to go on to the meeting while she runs to the bathroom.

"Name please?" the receptionist says.

"Uhm Lennon Grace Alvarez."

"Okay, please have a seat over there. I'll let Mr. Nino know that you're here."

"Thank you." I say with a smile.

After waiting for about 20 minutes I went back and talked with Mr. Nino. It was just a meeting to let me know my dorm assignment along with my cheerleading schedule. I thought it was a bit odd that he gave me my schedule but he said it was because the coach was on vacation but wanted to make sure everyone had their schedules early enought to let their professors know if the games will interfere with their classes. Apparently at this school, sports override academics. Weird...

In the car on the way home I was looking over my cheer schedule and noitced that my practice starts in 3 days. Holy shit that's soon. I still have to buy my shoes, spandex, and sports bras to practice in. The coach told me in an email that we will do uniform fittings on the first day. I'm not your typical stick thin cheerleader. I actually have boobs and an ass (according to my ex). Therefore, I'm sure I'll get plenty of, "Is she really a cheerleader?" looks. Whatever. Doesn't bother me. I get that from my mom's Puerto Rican side.

"Hey Kell can I borrow the car to go to Target and get some stuff for practice please? It starts in 3 days."

"I can take you!" she says spazticly.

Ugh why does she do this.

"No, it's okay I want to go alone." I can tell I've hurt her with my words so I quickly change my mind.

"Fine, let's go." She instantly perks back up.

We pull into Target and see that it is extremely packed. What the hell? It's noon on a Monday. What could be going on?

When we walk in I see a huge line of teenage girls with their moms.

"What the hell is going on Kell?"

"Oh yeah I read in the paper today that that band called 5 Seconds of Summer is doing a book signing here today!" She almost looks just as excited as the girls waiting in line.

Great. Just great. I don't have time for screaming fangirls.

I start walking to the clothes when I collide with a guy covered in tattoos with a piercing on his lip and eyebrow.

"Watch where the fuck you're going girl!"

"Excuse me you ran into me asshole!"

He smirks. What the hell?

"Fiesty huh? What's your name?" he says smiling.

"I'm not telling you. You were just a complete asshole to me why the fuck would I tell you my name?"

As I'm scolding him I notice how green his eyes are and how thick his accent is. He's looking straight into my eyes.

"Please? If you tell me yours, I'll tell you mine." He says with a smirk again.

What the hell am I doing talking to some random guy in the middle of Target when I came here for cheer stuff?

"Fine. Lennon Grace. But you can call me Lennon." I say like a smart ass.

"Okay, Lennon Grace." He says to spite me. "Mine is Harry."

"Okay... I'll be leaving now." I say.

I walked as fast as I could back to the cheer stuff. That was so... odd.

But, if it was so odd, why can't I get those piercing green eyes out of my head?
