Glancing around making sure no one heard her, Jisoo continue to talk on the phone. It was silence on her side as she gave space to the other person to talk.
"Mom, stop crying." She sighed, eyes still looking around. This is private matter and she didn't want anyone to hear. Whatever information that she received was not a good news and definitely not a happy news. She needed time to comprehend what her mother said earlier on the phone.
"I'll go home now. You just wait there until I arrive and please, don't do anything reckless. You got me?" and she nodded, as if her mother could see her.
She put her phone back in the pocket as she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She stood still for a moment, composed herself. Her expression was unreadable. Nothing.
It was shocking for Taehyung to see her suddenly fell on her knees, tears streaming down like a river. She closed her mouth with both her hands, as if it could muffle her cries. Taehyung surely didn't knew her very well, but he could tell that it was deep pain. Something happened. He watched the girl in the silence, didn't have any intention to approach her. If she ever needed someone, Taeyong was probably the right person.
He didn't want to be busybody, so he decided to just leave her alone. If anything really bad happened, she would tell Nayeon sooner or later and he would eventually learnt it too. He was turning his back when he heard her soft mumbling "Seokjin-Oppa"

And yes, the news certainly reached Nayeon as he found her in the classroom crying heavily. It was confusing because he saw no presence of Jisoo there and her seat was taken temporarily by Yunhyeong who was trying to comfort Nayeon by patting her shoulder. Slowly approaching her, Taehyung took a large steps and stopped right beside her.
"what happened? Why is she crying?" he knew she wouldn't be able to answer him so asking Yunhyeong seemed like a better thing to do.
"Where did you go?!" definitely not answering his question.
Taehyung rolled his eyes and slightly bent his body to get better sight of Nayeon's face. Seeing her crying was not making him feel good, it never was. "Nayeon-ah.. what happened?" he cupped the side of her face, making her to look right into his eyes. Ah, he swore to himself that he will try his best not to let her cry and bear the pain alone. Not anymore. Now that she has him.
The eyes met and the next thing he realized that Nayeon reached for his body and closed their gap. She was hugging him. Arms around his neck, within seconds he could feel his shirt slightly wet with her tears. She was hugging him so tight as if trying to let him know her pain. Something that happened was almost unbearable and she needed him to be there with her. Strangely, he could feel her pain.
"cry.. cry as much as you want. I am here. It is okay.." he caressed her back giving her reassurance.
Still crying, she shook her head. "Oppa.. Seokjin-oppa.."
She let out a sob "we need- need- to go to see him.."
"I want to see him.. Taehyung-ah..."

When they arrived, the gloomy aura surrounded the area. No one was smilling including Nayeon who was in his embrace. Then he saw Jisoo, leaning against the wall looking lifeless. It looked like her body was there but not her soul. In front of her, stood a small bench where her mom was seated. She didn't cry but her puffy face showed that she had just stopped crying. Her eyes and nose were red.
