A year has passed since Taiyou had disappeared along with Hisoka and Aoi to whereabouts unknown. The WitchHunters group renamed themselves to Ryusei after Taiyou's disappearance (Ryusei (流星) is Japanese for a Meteor or a Shooting star in reference to Taiyou's name (太陽) Meaning "Sun"). But after the incident, the groups numbers scarcely depleted. Taiyou and Hisoka were gone for obvious reasons. Jessie felt shocked after what happened and decided to leave with Glen to try and establish a new Black Light District. Star and Rin were violently murdered on the night of the incident. The groups remaining members were only Dylan and Narumi. They decided to both drop out of Shiva Learning Institute and devote all of their time into trying to find and save Taiyou. Their first objective was to find clues on what the Crystalis Drug might be. Even with all the time that has passed, they had gotten nowhere. But as the season change, so will the world in this extravagant story.
A carrier truck leaves en route to Otaku City. The drivers are two lower members of DragonFruit. Inside the carrier is a new face, Suzuki Ivy. She was a newly added member to the higher ups of DragonFruit with one soul purpose, to look after a girl. The girl sitting beside Ivy was sitting in a position that made her slanted, she had long black hair and was wearing the iconic DragonFruit Hood (As was Ivy). "So what's those twos deal"
"She's one of the big bosses lackeys, Made to replace Issacs place after his failure"
"Really!?!, wow... who's the creepy girl next to her"
"Not sure"
"Does she have a name?"
"Apparently not"
"Hey dude, which one do you think is better in bed?"
"You do know I can hear you both, right?" Ivy says in the back. The two guards stop talking and continue driving.
Suddenly, the truck comes to a sudden halt. The hooded girl starts screaming and buries herself in her hands. "Shhh... it's okay" Ivy said "Why did we stop?". The guard opens the latch to the back "We aren't sure" he says "There's someone standing on the middle of the road". Ivy becomes furious "Now?!? It's 1 in the morning, no living person would be up this late. Go investigate". The guard pauses "Yes Ma'am" he replies. Ivy goes back to calming down the girl.
{Straits of Otaku City}
The two guard walk outside to see a girl with a hoodie that had cat ears on the hood, taking photos of the streets with a her camera. "Hey, umm miss" One of the guards says "Your kinda standing on the middle of the road. So could you...", "Oh for fucks sake" The second guard intervenes. The second guard pulls his arm out and the ground around them rise up to form spikes "Get out of the way before I turn you into fucking Swiss cheese". The girl continues to take photos "Y'know, taking photos of the city at night is just the best. There's no people around to fuck up your shots". The guard retorts "DID YOU HEAR WHAT I JUST SAID!". The girl then turns around to snap a photo of the two guards, the flash blinds them for a couple of seconds. After regaining their vision, they realise that the girl disappeared. The do the next logical thing and look around for her. The guard turns to his left to suddenly find his partner in a pool of blood. He looks up to see the girl with a glass water bottle falling from a nearby streetlight. She instantly smashes the bottle on his head, followed by a gush of water. "There, that should finish it" the girl says. But as she turned around, a large slab of concrete smashes her against a nearby shop window. The girl stands up, her hood was knocked backwards to reveal a girl with white and pink hair. "I see" she says "So your one of those new Witches that aren't affected by water". The guard stands up with his blood dripping off his head "That's right" he said. The girl continues to small talk "I always wondered how you do that. Is there like a small UV projector inside your giant cloak or is it like a..." before she could finish the guard starts running up to her. She instantly dodges it and slits his throat in the process "Amateur" she says. She walks up to the trunk to see Ivy standing outside of it. Ivy smiles "I like what you've done with your hair" she says, "Thanks" the girl replies "I've been thinking about going by the codename: "Neko", what do you think?" "I think you're dead". The girl materialises a Revolver and starts firing at Ivy. Ivy dodges and starts firing with her own pistol. After a couple of misfires and near death instances, the two finally run out of ammo. The girl on the other hand, materialises a second weapon, a short sword and start charging up to Ivy. Ivy realises this and tries to dodge it, only to have her thigh cut after the girl managed to get too close to her. She laid there on the floor, bleeding "Wow, you've gotten better" Ivy says. The girl dematerialises her sword "And you've gotten sloppy". Ivy smiles "Until we meet again I guess... Aoi!". For a brief second, Yoshisawa Aoi warps in and quickly drags Ivy out of the area.
The girl goes over to the truck to see the hooded girl lying on the floor, crying. "Obake, I took down the trunk and managed to find a girl in here. She doesn't look like she's DragonFruit though..." The girl analyses her more "She has syringe punctures on her arm... could she be...". Dylan instantly cuts in "Take her back here". The girl pauses "Understood...". Dylan lies back on his chair "You did good today Narumi". After all this time, Narumi had become a completely different person. She was nothing like her scared self she was a year ago. She had become the main character of her own story. But alas, this story isn't about her, but the girl she is about to take out of this truck.
{DragonFruit Base}
Ivy is seen getting patched up by a medical droid. Tsuki walks in with to the room "Did you deliver her?". Ivy looks up "Yes, According to CCTV, Narumi picked her up and took her away via TeleJump". Tsuki smiles "Good. In order for our plans to succeed, she must be exposed to that group. I believe they call themselves Ryusei now, that's cute". Ivy stares at her and smiles "This is all in favour of our new world right?". Tsuki turns around and looks at her with her cold, dark eyes "Yes, for our new world."
