A Beginning, An End

{Cambridge, Britain, 1749}
"BURN THE WITCH" "SPILL ER' BLOOD" "RID SATAN'S CURSE FROM THE WORLD". Some of the many phrases heard during the time of the Witch Hunt. Many years ago, a rare genetic blood type existed within specific families. This blood type was known as Type C. This type made the blood of a person seem similar to regular blood, except microscopically, the red blood cells contain traces of a strange crystal-like substance that is able to conduct radiation much easier than what the regular human body can. This alters the body and gives it special attributes that define it from the rest of humanity. When one such person was exposed with this capability, they were branded as Witches and servants of the devil himself. Many lives were lost to these accusations, some weren't even these so called "Witches". Nevertheless, it was never wise to reveal ones identity as a witch.

{Outskirts of Cambridge}
A horse is pulling a carriage holding two very prestigious people. Lord Sakura was descendants of Queen Himiko, only in his late 20's. He along with his wife were delivering a Japanese wolf cub to the Queen of England as a peace treaty between the United Kingdom and The island of Japan. The cart suddenly comes to a complete halt. "Why have we stopped?" Lord Sakura asks. "Sorry my Lord" the driver says "There seems to be some sort of large basket blocking the road". Lord Sakura is puzzled "A large basket?" he mutters "Curious...". "No matter sir" the driver says "I'll have it moved out of th...". Lord Sakura jumps out of the cart "That won't be necessary" he says "I'm highly capable of getting my hands dirty when I need to. He walks up to the driver and pats his shoulder "A lord should be at the disposal of his subjects". Lord Sakura examines the basket and lifts it up to see a something that utterly surprised him. "Wife!" Lord Sakura yells "It seems the gods have answered our prayers". Since Lord Sakura was arranged to marry his wife, they had tried for a child for many many years. Still, they had nothing to show for it. Lord Sakura believed that he wouldn't have the joy that others had of having children, which deeply sorrowed him. And after all that, there lied two children, a boy and a girl. Lord Sakura picks up a piece of parchment that was laid between the children. On side contained the hiragana that read Moné and the other side read the words Sunē. There it was decided, the Son would be called Moné and the Daughter would be named Sunē. After delivering the cub, Lord Sakura would raise the two children along with his wife.

{Japan, Kyoto} {10 years later}
Lord Sakura had been called to see his children as something had happened to them both of them. Upon opening the door to their room, he saw it. Moné was making objects float and splitting them to an almost microscopic level. On the other hand, Sunē was saying that her head was hurting and her hand was drawing perfect images of things happening across the estate. Lord Sakura could only imagine that his children were some of the witches that was mentioned to him during his time in England. He knew that if word got out that he was harbouring such individuals, he would become an enemy against humanity. Lord Sakura couldn't bring himself to kill them however, he had grown to love these two children who he had raised. Instead of disposing of them, he decided to protect them. Within the next few years, Lord Sakura had erected a new organisation to protect the lives of these two children. This organisation would be known as the Order of the DragonFruit. Named after the elegant fruit that was the symbol of the Sakura Family. The organisation would help erase their existence from the world and shelter them from ever being exposed to the real world.

Overtime, because of being isolated from the outside world, the two children began to develop feelings for one another. Another 15 years pass and Sunē bears a child, the child of Moné. Shortly after, the two die of a mysterious illness, and the child was sent to be raised along with the rest of the Sakura family. The Order of the DragonFruit decided to do a proper investigation on why Sunē and Moné died. They started by having their blood examined by a medical professional. Upon cutting into the tissue of one of the corpses, the sight revealed to them had astonished them. The blood had turned clear, translucent, and flowed much easier than regular blood. 4 litres of this mysterious drug was extracted from the two corpses, the rest that would've been in the body had mysteriously disappeared. In truth, the liquid was passed on to the child that the two had. This cycle would pass on over and over again, getting weaker in detectability throughout the passing generations, but it was always present nonetheless. After years of experimentation, The order of the DragonFruit realised that the substance was Crystal based and highly flammable, which explained why none of I was found from the burned corpses of victims of the Witch hunt. DragonFruit would keep researching while still staying true to their main goal of protecting the descendants of Moné and Sunē. They had decided that the oldest child would be the only ones to know the secret of their bloodline. By doing so, they were able to discover their power as witches on their own. This would continue for centuries, until one fateful day.
