Dylan and Narumi sit opposite each other on a table. Both in a state of intense confusion. "How can this be, Dylan" Narumi says "How does this girl not only have Taiyou's ShivaNano, but an exact copy of Taiyou's DNA". Dylan tries to process all the information, but none of it adds up. "We need answers" Dylan says "And I think I might know the right person who can deliver them".
The two enter the housing unit to prepare themselves to meet this mystery person who might be able to supply them with answers. "AHHHHHH!" A loud scream is heard from Ely's room. Narumi quickly runs towards Ely's bedroom "Ely!" She says "Are you okay?". Ely quickly bursts out the door and drags Narumi into her room. Dylan who has right behind Ely, watches this with concern. Narumi walks out with a distraught looking face. "What happened" Dylan asked, Narumi looks at Dylan "She's having her thing..." she replies.
"What do you mean, 'her thing?'"
"I mean, 'her thing'"
"I don't follow"
"You know..."
Narumi points downwards. It takes Dylan a while, but he finally understands. "Oh... erm" "yeah...". An awkward silence passes, Dylan breaks the silence "At least we know that she's actually a female". "I need you to explain it to her" Narumi says, Dylan is shocked to hear this "Why me?!, you're a girl. Why don't you explain it to her". "I spent all day helping her out yesterday, asshole" Narumi replies "It's your turn". Dylan sighs and walks into the room, Narumi watches this and smiles. Suddenly, to Narumi's surprise, Dylan starts dashing towards the window and leaps right through it, shattering the glass. Narumi watches this is disbelief "I really hate that guy" she says to herself.
The three of them leave the house and board a bus to Karakuri, a district of Otaku City that is a half an our bus ride from Arifureta. After getting off the bus, they walk to an apartment building underneath a monorail track. They all appear in front of a door on the 5th floor, Dylan knocks 5 times on the door. Narumi looks at Ely and sees that her facial expression seems very tired. The door opens to reveal a girl with long hair, Designer frame glasses and an overly large sized jumper that covered her legs. "Well, I guess it's finally time" the girl says, she looks at both Narumi and Ely "My name is Fuji Stephanie". "Fuji?" Narumi says "Like... old man Fuji?". "This girl is Mr Fuji's daughter" Dylan Explains "And my old partner".
The three of them enter the apartment. Ely instantly sees the couch and dives for it, she quickly falls asleep on it. "Ely!" Narumi yells "You can't just sleep on Stephanie's couch!". "Hehe" Stephanie giggles "It's fine. By the way, call me Steph". The three of them sit around the living room coffee table. "Let me explain" Dylan says "About 2 years before I Attended Shiva Learning Institute: Arifureta. Me and Steph were both being trained by Mr Fuji, we're about the same level of skill in combat". "I'm better" Steph whispers to Narumi, Dylan continues explaining "By the time I started attending school, Steph was sent to join Dragonfruits lower ranks". Narumi is surprised "Wait... So she's a witch?", "No," Steph says "but my father made a program on my Shivanano that is able to mask my DNA as a witches one, but I don't have any special powers". Dylan continues "Since that day, we never made contact until the day we needed answers from deep within. That day is today". Dylan turns to Steph "What have you gathered over this time". Steph lies back "Well..." she says "Being in the lower ranks doesn't give you much information to work with. Until recently". Steph pulls out a box, Dylan opens the box to be surprised by its contents, a pair of syringes, exactly like the ones Taiyou was injected with. "Are these..." Dylan says, Steph nods "This is the Crystalis drug, a chemical agent that is able to rewrite human DNA". Dylan starts to become much more interested "How so?" He asks. "When injecting into a human" Steph explains "the drug causes the human to become a witch". Dylan and Narumi are shocked to hear this, "But get this" Steph continues "When injected into a witch, it causes their power to become a much more powerful and evolved form then before. It even grants immunity to their water weekness". This was all very difficult information to process. If DragonFruit had access to this type of augmentation, it could mean that their enemies have become more dangerous then the last time they encountered them. Narumi looks over to Ely's sleeping body "This girl" she says "when we found her, she had syringe punctures all over her arms". Steph looks at Ely's arms and sees the scars from the punctures "Well... it is possible to overdose" Steph says "When the cell wall is exposed to too much of the drug, it can cause damage". Dylan and Narumi look at each other and nod, this could be the cause to Ely's amnesia. But the problem of her having Taiyou's DNA and ShivaNano data. "There's one last thing" Staph says "There's a legend spread across the ranks of DragonFruit. The Legend Of The Saviour". Narumi and Dylan are struck by this, Steph continues "The Saviour is a being who is considered to be a True Witch. They would bring the Witch race into a new age by destroying the old world and bringing forth a new one. They this event, New World Rising". Dylan looks to Narumi who agrees with him "We know who the Saviour is" Dylan says "He was our friend, Taiyou. The only problem is, he isn't this 'True Witch' you speak of, he's not even a witch". Steph looks surprised "Interesting, I've never heard of this 'Taiyou' person" she says "what happened to him?". Dylan looks down in guild, Narumi answers the question for him "One of our friends betrayed us and brought him to DragonFruit". Steph starts thinking "This is bad" she says "If they have the Saviour, that means that we'll need to stop them before they can do whatever their plan is". Suddenly, a message appears on Dylans ShivaNano, "It's DragonFruit" He says "They've attacked ShivaTower". They realise what this might be. Originally, Ryusei didn't understand why DragonFruit was trying to assassinate Yoshisawa Takeru. But now it was all clear, Aoi is the only child of Takeru, making her the next qualified person to become the president of ShivaCorp. By assassinating Takeru, Aoi would become president of ShivaCorp, effectively putting all of ShivaCorp under DragonFruits control. "We'll go after them" Dylan says "Steph I'm sorry, but we'll need you to stay here and take care of Ely". Steph smiles "Are you kidding?" She says "I've been waiting to see some action". Steph grabs a box and opens it to reveal a selection of Glass Cards and A ShivaNano implantation device. "I'll leave a note to tell Ely" Steph says while implanting a ShivaNano into her neck. Steph pulls her arms out and two lightweight blades materialises, one blue and one red. Steph swings the blades around which makes a stream of red and blue light behind them. "Don't worry" Steph says "I'll drive".
