Rachel was one of the world's leading ladies. Her Agent always told her this.
She flipped through the large book of Head Shots and stills for each of her films. She had played every character imaginable: princess, warrior goddess, scientist, mother, writer, astronaut, so many different roles.
She looked around her rented bedroom in her rented house in the middle of nowhere West Virginia. She thought, "I'm one of the world's leading ladies, yet I sit here all alone. I'll go back to LA alone, if I go back, back to my bungalow overlooking the valleys, and still I'm alone."
She tossed the book on the floor. She gathered up her covers and tossed them over her head. It was so quiet here, so dark, little to no ambient light, she wasn't used to this silence this real dark sky night.
She swallowed and tucked her pillows around here. She muttered, "I gotta do something, but something, different."
