Chapter 16

Scarlette's POV...

It was now after school. Emma said that she's getting a ride from Theo. So it's just Joelle and I. Before we left the compound, I got a text from Emma.. I immediately opened it...

Emma:
Hey love, I've something to tell you... Please meet me at my house right away...

Me:
Is everything okay?

Emma:
I'll tell you when you come.
Oh and bring Joelle.

Me:
Okay, see you in a few.

I took off my phone and told Joelle about the message... so we headed over to Emma's house.

Theodore's POV...

I decided on asking Emma, for me to take her home. I've not taken her home in a while. While driving to her house she said that she has something to tell me... and she said that she needs to tell Scarlette and I... well her girls and me...

I knew something was off... I wonder what's bothering her?
I hope it's nothing to serious... cuz it seems serious...

Emma's POV...

So I told all of them to come to my house so I'll spill what's really going on...
From the moment, Theo and I pulled up to my drive way, Scarlette's car pulled up too. Great everyone is right on time.

"Hun, What's going on?" Scar asked...

"I'll tell you inside and I'll spill.." I said and they followed me up to my room. Thank God it was only all of us in the house. We gathered in the living room.

"Okay so, what I'm about to say, has been bothering me all day and night." I started to say...
I took a deep breath so I'll continue...

"Yesterday, after school. When I was walking up to my porch, Aiden stopped me and said he wanted to talk to me. He invited me over... so I went..." I said.

"C'mon, you can tell us. Did he hurt you?" Theo asked...

"When I asked him what he wanted to say... instead he kissed me... and said it was me he wanted all along..." I said and tears began flowing...

"It's okay Hun, I was starting to figure him out, he is totally not the guy for me..." Scar said.

"Wait what?" I asked...

"Yeah, quite frankly, he started to act differently.. and from the way he looks at you when we all hang out... I was starting to see an obsession..." She replied...

"Well beautiful, everyone can't get their eyes off you... but you're mine. So all they can do is look at you. They can't touch you." Theo said...

"So y'all Okay?" I asked...

"Yeah," they answered...

"See Em, I told you they'll stand by you." Joelle smiled and I nod.

"So you guys aren't like angry or upset?" I asked.

"Why would we be?" Scar asked.

"I don't know..." I said with a sad expression.

"Emma! Someone put this in the mail for you," Jake said while walking in.
Hmm.. what? Who sent that?
I took it and looked at it...

"Oh Hey Guys," Jake said when he noticed I wasn't alone.

"Hey dude," Theo smiled.

"Who is it from?" They asked.

"I'm not sure," I said and I decided on opening it. The top ripped quite easily as I proceeded in opening the envelope...

Inside was a paper which I expected. I took out the paper but it was shocking cuz it was a picture of me... when I was on my run. But what was confusing was why would someone take a picture of me and send it via the mail....

"What the...." I trailed off... I turned the paper around to see a note. Someone wrote at the back.

It read:

Be careful when you're alone cuz you wouldn't know who is keeping an eye on you...

"This is messed up," Joelle said...

"Who would take a picture of her?" Scar asked.

"But who would wrote something like that?" Theo asked...

We all were confused... I'm just glad that Jake went up to his room so he wouldn't know what's going on.

Theodore's POV...

I can't believe this is happening to Emma. I've to get to the bottom of this... I've to protect my girl.

"Hey Beautiful, can I talk to you for a second?" I asked and she nods.

"So I was thinking I could ask my parents to do a search on what's happening... Like I can take the picture and have them do a back ground check on who wrote that note.." I told her.

"Sure," she said with a half smile.

And we head back to the others... when we heard them talking about something.

"That girl need to get her head out her ass," Joelle said...

"Who you guys talking about?" Emma asked.

"We were just saying that it could be Amber, you know meddling in everyone's business..and her wanting Aiden," Scarlette said...

"Yeah, I guess that could be a possibility,"
