I see Forth at lunch. Like usual he sits with star. They talk something that makes forth laugh. I never know he can laugh. He always have that stern look. Icy look. Cold personality.

But seeing him laugh, it's really new experience. He has good laugh. Melodious. Calming. And he has funny smile. Showing all of his gums.

Cute. I never think someone like him can describe as cute. But he is cute now. Super cute. Bright smile, melodious laugh, sparkling eyes, he should always looks like that.

I think what happen that night, the night that start all crazy rumours about him, really took something from him. Make him lost, lose a lot of things. He lost his smile for sure, his laugh. I bet his friends too, as only star coming to see him. I never see him get tagged in social media too. It's that easy to thrown away friendship, just because some rumours that you don't even know that's true or not. Pathetic. Not forth, but his so called friends.

They ate together everyday. Every lunch. I can see they both have different personalities. So it's really that night that brought them together?

I see some seniors approach forth's table and talk to him. Suddenly forth and star stand up and leave. I smell trouble so I run to get my brother.

Forth POV

I think these seniors want something from me. Not a good thing for sure. I know them. They're troublemakers. We stopped in one of empty classes.

"so forth, you're a Jamornhum right? I heard you beat someone up till they really close to gate of hell." one of them start to say nonsense.

"so?" that's not me, that's star.

The one with piercing answer, "so, fight us, we wanna know who's stronger."

Are they dumb? Why would I fight them? It's not peeing contest.

"I don't want to." I told them. But well, they're assholes, of course they won't listen. Suddenly one of them fly a right hook to me which I easily dodge.

One of them try to kick me on my stomach which I "slap" away. They're lucky, our PE teacher come before I can throw some punch to them.

They just runaway. Coward.

"are you okay forth? Star?" he asked us. We both nodded. He let us go.

Star and I walk passed my classmate, Beam. He's cute kid. I mean, really cute. I think I'm hallucinating at first because I thought he's a girl. I mean, white skin, flawless face, and he's beautiful, well he's handsome too, but beautiful also apply on him. But when I saw his uniform, I know right away he's a boy. What a shame.

"Forth." Star stop me and pull me to stop in front of the library.

"Hmm?" I look at her.

"isn't better to just tell the truth? You've been suffering for too long. And it hurts me, knowing all this craziness are because of me." this again?! Really?!

"Star, we've talk about this. I gave you my reasons. Everybody agree with that. But you remember that I also have conditions right? One of it you all agree with that too. No talking about that at all after we make our deals. So don't bring that up again. I won't change my mind."

"Why? It's not your fault!? It's their fault!? Why you're the one suffering? That's not fair." she nearly scream all those accuse.

"please don't say it out loud, someone might hear you. I'm okay. It's better this one. If I came clean, 4 of you will be suffering. It's easier to handled it myself. Just don't break your promise to me." I try to calm her down. It's really an issue for her.

"but how long? A year? Two year? It'll stay with you forever. I know you're a Jamornhum, no one will say anything. But that's not healthy to having people talking bad about you behind your back."

"just keep your promise. Do your part of our agreement. I'll handle the rest." I walk away from her. Too frustrated to retor now.

Beam POV

4 of you? So she really is part of that accident? So that's why she's not afraid of him, because she knew what really happened. But why forth insist to cover it? Is she worth that much for him? What is happening?

Yes, I'm eavesdropping. But I didn't mean to. I swear. I just want to catch them but star talk before I get the chance, then I'm hiding. That's all.

I decided to approach star.
"hey. Are you okay?" she has teary eyes.
"Oh beam. Yeah I'm okay. It's just too much to handle lately." she wipe her eyes and look at me.
"you can't push him to do something that he dislike tho."
She look shocked. "you heard?!"
"some of it. I just... Curious. What exactly they do? Forth doesn't look like someone violent. So it must be something big that he did that."
She avoid my eyes.
"you know aren't you? What really happen that day? You're there. Is he? Is he helping you? And he asked you to cover it up?" what the hell am I doing?!
"Why you wanna know? So you can gossip about it?"
She looks hurt. That's for sure.
"no. I want to be his friend. But he avoid everyone. Even the sincere one. So I think it'll help me to convince him that I don't care about anything, if I know what happen that day. Trust me, I'm not gossiping about him. I'm just curious. Me, my brother and my best friend. That's all and we just wanna be friends with him. He's a good guy, and you agree with it, it's sad seeing him all alone. I'm reaching him out, ask him to come to my birthday party, but he still distance himself from anyone except you. Please help me to understand. And help him to accept my friendship. I won't tell anyone. Only my best friend and brother. And both of them aren't gossiper."
