Both girls were torn. Both girls were broken. All because of a stupid kiss. Perrie couldn't keep the memory away. The guilt was eating her alive and all she wanted to do was go up to Jade and confess. Confess her feelings. Confess her hatred for herself after she left the girl to cry herself to sleep. Just confess. But she was too much of a coward to do it.

Perrie's pale face was hung down and her arms were wrapped securely around her waist. She didn't dare to look up just in case she saw the beauty that caused her pain. Jade felt the exact same. Her cheeks had tear stains smothered all over and her eyes were blood shot. She looked scruffy and unwell. Her tanned face had lost all colour and she was getting paler and paler. I know what your thinking. I know that you probably think that it was just a stupid kiss but both girls knew that wasn't just a kiss. It triggered something inside them both. They were on opposite ends of the school doing their own things. Jade talking to Niall and Perrie hanging out with Jesy.

"So...you're saying you kissed Jade Thirlwall. Broke up with Zayn and ran away from the girl you gave a crush on?" Jesy confirmed, her arms folded firmly against her chest. "Yes." Perrie admitted her hands rubbing themselves up and down her pale face. "Have I been living under a rock?" Jesy asked herself chuckling slightly. "Are you stupid, Perrie? What are you doing here? Why aren't you chasing the girl you like?" Jesy asked her best friend grabbing her shoulders scanning her face for emotions. "I don't know..." Perrie admits her mind wondering to Jade. Her beauty. Her laugh. Her body. Her personality. "Well, you are not coming back to me until you go chase your dreams!" Jesy turned her friend around and pushed her down the hall.

"Jade! You have to talk to her. C'mon." Niall nudged his best friend and she just ignored him while rummaging through her locker. "No. She made it quite clear that she doesn't like me." Jade huffed her head hanging down in sadness. "Oh, c'mon. If she doesn't like you then why did she kiss you in the first place?" Niall argued. Jade's mind was full of answers. Drugs, alcohol? Jade's mind rushed and she became confused. Why did Perrie kiss her back? The thought gave her slight hope and a small smile was stitched on her face and Niall saw. "See." Niall confirms his suspicion.

"Jade?" Leigh Anne's voice breaks Jade out of her thoughts a he takes as bite of her sandwich. The autumn air rushed through jades brown locks as she sat. "What?" Her voice came out a little harsher then she wanted it to. "Are you going to talk to Perrie? She keeps staring at you and its getting kind of creepy." Leigh Anne's chuckles trying to lift her friends spirits. Jade signed and looked up through her eyelashes at Perrie.

Her heart fluttered and her stomach swarmed with butterflies. Perrie felt the exact same. Both girls felt loved. Both girls felt each other. Perrie was the first to break the contact because of someone talking to her and the girls soon were separated again. Their hearts felt empty.
