New years was coming up faster than expected and Jade wasn't ready for it. It had only been a week since the incident and neither of the girls had made any effort to contact each other. Jade was currently burying herself in books and notes as she studied for the exams coming in May. She sighed in fustrution as her mother walked in.
"Darling you have at least 4 months to revise. You don't have to start now." Jade took off her glasses and rubbed her eyes. "Its not that mum. Its a girl." Her mother knew that she liked girls and she knew who Perrie was. Jade's mother nodded at her daughter to go on and she did. "Its that well you know Perrie came round about a week ago?" Her mother nodded. "We kissed and then she got freaked out and left. Now she's not talking to me and I don't know what I did wrong."
Norma rushed over to the couch where her daughter sat and cuddeled her. "Jadey... Your only 16. Its okay. You'll find another girl." Norma petted her hair softly. "But the thing is I don't want to forget about this girl, mum. I'm in love." She cried into Norma's shoulder. She heard her mother gasp at her words and then the next defence that came out of her mothers mouth shocked her. "If its true love then you can't give it up, you have to fight for it, baby girl."

Perrie's night in was the same as it was any Thursday night. She sat on her soft bed, hair in bun and PJ's on, doing her homework. She heard her Dad call her down for dinner so she tossed her books on her bed and went down seeing her family sitting at the table. "Hey." She mumbled and sat down at the end of the table. "I got a call from Tricia Malik today." Her mother brought up and Perrie's heart beat quickened. "So?" Her mother dropped her fork onto her plate making everyone stop eating and become silent. "That's all your saying? When were you going to tell me you broke up with Zayn? We had a simple plan and you couldn't even follow someone as simple as that." She easier her voice scaring Perrie a bit. "I didn't love him okay? At least not the way you wanted me to! I'm sorry for falling in love with someone else!" She regretted the final 8 words that slipped out of her mouth.
Her mother had met Jade earlier on but inside she wasn't okay with her daughter being bi or a lesbian but her father was. When she met Jade she put on an act hoping that Zayn would stay in the picture."With that Jade girl? But she's a girl. Its a sin! Women were made for men not other other women! Get that into your thick skull Perrie!" She screeched hoping to scare her daughter. "I can love who I want and you can't do anything about it!" Perrie screamed back at her mother. "Get out." Perrie's eyes widened and she couldn't believe what was happening. "I said GET OUT!" Her mother yelled so loud it made Perrie flinch.
Perrie ran up the stairs grabbing a suitcase. She stuffed her clothes in and her school supplies not knowing how long she'll be away. Tears streamed down her cheeks and she sobbed quietly. She grabbed a coat and shoes and ran out of the house to be greeted by rain. She let fat tear stroll down her cheeks as she ran to the house that she knew she would be accepted.

"Jade could you get the door?" Norma shouted to her daughter as she sliced the peppers for their homemade pizza. Jade moaned and got up from the couch and trudged down the hall to her door. She opened the door and nearly fainted at the sight. Perrie was standing in front of her in her PJ's, soaking wet and she could tell she was crying. A loud sob from Perrie's blue lips broke Jade out of her shocked state. "Come in." Jade moved out of the way and let the freezing girl inside.
Jade removed Perrie's coat and took her suitcase from her pale hand and set Perrie on the couch. Jade moved to the kitchen to where her mum was and spoke. "Mum? Perrie's here...I don't know what happened but she crying and she has a suitcase and she's wet." Norma looks sympathic and she said: "Perrie can stay as long as she wants. Bless her soul. She needs some warm clothes. Get some out of her bag and I'll run a bath for her. Try and find out what happened, okay honey?" Jade nodded going to Perrie's suitcase grabbing some dry Pj's and went back to the blued eyed girl.
"Hey... Don't cry, love." Jade said to the whimpering girl. Perrie looked up through her lashes to Jade and cried even more. "I-I'm s-s-so sorry! I love you. I love you." Perrie cried out becoming a stuttering mess. Jades eyes popped at Perrie's words. "Come on we need you in dry clothes." Jade said. She gave Perrie the clothes and turned around. She waited a couple of minutes and turned back around when she felt something tug at he shirt. She took Perrie's hand and guided upstairs to where her mum had run a bath for her. "Thank you." Perrie muttered as Jade fave her a towel and the nessercery supplies for a bath and said: " When you come down pizza will be ready. And then we can talk." Jade didn't look into her crushes eyes as she spoke and she left.
Perrie sat in the bath listening to her breathing. She was warm. She felt comfortable in this home. After she had washed her hair and body she got out and wrapped a pink towel around her body. Once she dried she got re-dressed into her PJ's and put her wet hair into a bun. She slowly went out and creeped down the stairs. She went into the living room to see Jade sitting on the couch chewing on a piece of pizza. "Its a bit hot." Jade whispered as Perrie sat down next to her. She grabbed a piece and slowly ate it watching the TV.
