CHAPTER 6

"But I do know" He paused looking at me for a moment and added, "until I met you." His seriousness on his face were gone and was replaced by mischievousness.

Then, He just gave a flirty smile and wiggled his thick eyebrows which I returned with a glare.

He was really a complicated person. He was nice, good and sometimes, he was bad by looking at him. Which one is he holding? White mask or Dark mask? Both? Yes, Both lies at the opposte ends. Bakit ba kasi ang galing niyang magchange ng moods. Because of that, I don't know who exactly he is. His gray eyes were so full of secrets, like a dark hole that no one can invade to know those secrets. That's why I don't trust people easily- like my father said. His last words: don't trust anyone. Lalo na yung mga kakakila lang sa pangalan.

"Nice try. No butterflies at all." I said as I raised my left eyebrow at him.

"Butterflies?" He was dumbfounded. He looked so confused of my statement. His thick eyebrows suddenly furrowed together as he looked directly at my eyes, trying to dig the meaning of what I've said.

Bumuntong hininga ako, "Like butterflies in the stomach. Women often said that when they're.....nevermind." I stopped realizing that it was pointless to explain because he is a guy.

It was a girl thing.

"Really? Butterflies in the stomach? Some of the butterflies are poisonous. If you eat them, you will get a stomach ache and die." I laughed at his outrageous comment.

"You laugh?" I stopped laughing and I just rolled my eyes at him.

Hindi ko nalang nilabanan ang komento niya. What is the point of arguing with someone that leads into more arguments. right?

What a big mouth in a small head. Wait! am I referring to myself or to him? Top 1 vs Top 210. You kidding me.

"Butterflies huh?" ngumisi to.

I closed the book harshly and I said, "You know what. I'm just one of a million here in the Philippines that you have met."

"And I am just one of million stars that fall for you." Said Trevor and then he wiggled his thick eyebrows seductively.

Out of patience, I shot him another deadly glare. I stood and went away from him without even saying a word. With his tall, muscled body and long strides, I saw his shadow was following behind me. Hindi talaga malabong maaabutan niya ako.

"Pwede ba huwag mo akong sundan!" He was dumbfounded again. Amerikano nga pala 'to.

Muli akong tumalikod at naglakad palayo sa kanya. Binilisan ko lalo ang mga hakbang ko pero nasa likod ko parin si Trevor.

"I'll drive you home." Sabi niya ngunit hindi ko na siya binalingan muli. Hindi niya ba nakita na may sarili akong kotse.

Habang naglalakad ako papunta sa door way ay napatigil ako sa nakita ko. I blinked twice and thought of a familiar man.

Tall..Lean..Muscular..
and handsome.

Tyler?
