I looked into his warm eyes as his hands remain on my waist,he helped me to get back on my feet, damn he was fine "t-thank you" I managed to mumble out,he smiled my heart melted "Austin Scoffs" he said as he smiled once more god dammit those teeth those brows,he does'nt only looked attractive from a distance "Harmony Janseen"
I smiled and replied he was the same man clare was talking about earlier.
"I can see that you like it away from the crowd like myself",he said "yes I do" I replied and smiled once more.
Lacey showed up at the door "Harmony where have you been, everyones gathering come on" she stepped on the porch and saw Austin "oooohhh am sorry" she said as she looked at me and smirked "Harmony's bestfriend Lacey" she continued as she held out her hand for a shake, "Austin" as he replied as he shook her hand, she turned to me "the gathering is in the dining room" she said as she walked off still smirking.
"shall we?" Austin said as he held out his hands "wouldnt want you too fall again do we?" I chuckled as I took his arm and we entered the living room there were jus a few people who were leaving the room,we followed still holding Austin's arm we entered the dining room.
It had well decorated tables and chairs like a millions of em did I mention this was another gigantic room.
Austin directed me to an empty table for 2,he pulled my chair out as I gracefully sat,a true gentleman he was "thank you" I said as he sat facing me "you are welcome my lady" he smiled back I noticed how much his perfectly groomed dark hair brought out his stunning look,"So Ms Janseen, you know Mrs Phillips?" he asked as we looked at the fancy menus designed for dinner party "Yes I work for her", " so what do you do?" he asked " I am an account in her company" I answered slightly smiling.
A waiter came up to our table and asked "what for you madam?", "I will have steak please" I replied "and you sir?" "the same and please do bring us the best bottle of champaigne you have" Austin replied "ok sir" the waiter answered as he hurried off.
I looked over at a table and saw Lacey, having fun herself with a bunch of our co-workers she grinned as she saw me and flashed me a thumbs up,I smiled back I sorta felt guilty for abandoning her but she looked ok.
Our meals were served along with the bottle of champaigne we talked for hours,I didnt asked about what clare had said,Lacey came over us to say good night, she asked if I would be ok,I reassured her and she left.
After much talking the party has almost come to an end,Austin and I were leaving when we saw Mrs Phillips already saying goodbye to some of her guests,we went over to her "hello again Mr Scoffs I've seen you have met my lovely accountant" she said cheerfully Austin looked at me and smiled my heart skipped a beat I managed to smile back "well she had been a great company" he told her "well you young people get home safe and thank you for coming" she replied. Austin and I thanked her for a wonderful evening and stepped out the front door.
Austin hurried down the steps before I could make my way down he held out his hands towards me,I laughed I knew this was about my fall earlier I took his hands which felt safe, warm and soft. "You look beatiful my lady" he whispered as he lightly kissed the top of my out stretched hand, his lips against my skin made me drift off into thinking how it would feel on my lips smooth and tender."Thank you for a wonderful evening" I said blushing, "No..thank you my lady for a great evening" he spoke "well thank you for breaking my fall" I said we chukkled. We were standing by my car "good night my lady","drive safe" he said "good night" I said back as I entered my car and start the ignition I rolled down my window and smiled at him as I pulled out of the driveway and headed for my apartment.
