"In a gruesome scene, uncovered last night, several bodies were found in the 11th ward. The CCG is now treating it as a ghoul related crime-" the news caster says as I shut the door behind me. "Hey Y/n" the voice of Hinami says from next to me, I look over and see a small girl long with black hair, glasses, a mask and is wearing Touka's green jacket.

"Hinami? Is that you?" I question, she removes the wig, mask and sunglasses to reveal Hinami's smiling face. "Mhm, you guessed it" she smiles proudly, "nice disguise you got there" I compliment, "pretty cool right? I borrowed most of it from Touka. Yomo is gonna take me shopping today" she explains, "For what?" I question, "We're getting a bird house for Hetare" she explains. "Nice" I smile. "Hetare, Hetare" a shrill voice says as a door opens to reveal Yoshimura with the small cockatiel on his shoulder.

"Alright then Yomo, keep a close eye on Hinami" the manager reminds him, "Imma cat! Hetare!" the bird shrieks. Hinami then walks over to her mom, hugs her goodbye and then gives me a quick hug and walks behind Yomo. "See you later" she waves as her and Yomo head downstairs. After the incident with the investigators, Ryouko and Hinami moved into Anteiku, the two seemed too scared to go back out into society but they are slowly getting back to normal. Hinami found Hetare outside on her balcony with an injury and she helped him, despite Touka's dislike of birds. I then see Touka peeking around a corner, "What are you sneaking around for?" I tease, "Have you seen the bird?" she asks, "Yea he's with Yoshimura" I tell her. She lets out a shaky sigh and steps out, "It pukes, it molts and it haunts my dreams. I hate it" she shivers as she walks past me. Our wounds are healing, slowly but what can you expect with the horrible events that transpired. Ryouko doesn't go outside unless I or Yomo are with her and we don't let Hinami go on her own in fear of another attack, but we are happy to accompany them and help them however we can.
CRASH, "What the hell is the matter with you? You're useless woman" Nishiki yells at Touka, "Excuse me? You better shut your mouth before I shove it full of glass you misogynist pig!" she yells back at him as she cleans up the plate she broke. "Oh yea? You would do that because you don't know where the trash can is. Hah I've been here too long to bus tables" he mocks her, "Well that's the least you can do, you dick, because you suck so hard at everything else. So, screw you and your lazy ass. Do us both a favor and quit" she argues with him, "You'd love that-" he shoots back as I and Koma stand behind the counter. "You know we have a business to run, maybe you can cut back on the cursing?" Koma tries to reason with them, "-bitch!" Nishiki shoots at her, "bring it dumb ass" she challenges him. "Look I'm a gentleman, I'm not into the habit of getting ladies-" Nishiki continues to argue. "you're a brave pair to ignore me like this, impetuous even. It's like you've never heard the legend of the devil ape." Koma says with an evil look on his face. The two stop arguing and look at him questioning what he said but immediately start arguing again, "I'm not lazy!" he defends, "Oh hell yea you are" she argues, "If I was lazy I'd never have gotten into Kamii like Y/n or Kaneki, your dumb ass is never gonna make it into college" he yells at her, "You wanna make a bet?" she questions. "Ok both of you shut the hell up" I pipe in, "Shut up Y/n!" they both yell at me as Kaneki cleans up Touka's mess. Just then the bell of the door rings, I slam my fist on the counter, shutting both of them up as the customer enters the café. The door fully opens and reveals a head of purple hair and red glasses, "It's just Rize" Touka scoffs as she looks like she's going to start arguing again, "Touka" I cut in before she starts yelling. "If you cut it out, I'll take you out tonight" I offer, she blushes slightly at this and looks around as everyone raises an eyebrow at her, "Fine" she huffs in agreement and crosses her arms, making Nishiki burst out laughing, "Got her on a leash" he cackles. "Hey Nishiki, remember what happened at the church?" I ask him, he stops laughing and grumbles, "whatever, are you ever gonna stop holding that over my head?" he asks as he sits down, "Not likely" I shrug as I face Rize who is standing there laughing softly. "What are you doing here Rize?" Kaneki asks as he throws away the trash, "Just wanted to come see you and see if you wanted to hang out after you finished your shift" she smiles as she hugs his arm. "O-oh, what are you thinking?" he stutters, "I don't know, we can go out or we can stay in~" she winks at him. Kaneki starts freaking out at what she was insinuating, although he's been with Rize for months now, he's clearly still not used to her bold personality. "Ok cut that shit out, I don't need to puke on the job" I gag at her flirting, "Oh, come on Y/n, don't act like you don't want what me and Kaneki have." Rize teases as she saunters over to the counter, I look away from her so I don't give anything away without meaning to. "oh? I do believe that the "big bad lone wolf" Y/n has a crush" she raises an eyebrow and sits down at the counter. "That's ridicu-" I start to deny her claim but she cuts me off, "Oh don't deny it, I can tell by your embarrassment. It's serious too, someone like you doesn't just have a small crush, oh no, Y/n here might be in love" she deduces as I stammer and try to stop her. "Hm, but who could it be? Someone we know?" she tilts her head and squints as if she's thinking about it. She scans around the café and suddenly her eyes go wide and she slams her hands on the table and gasps in revalation, "NO WAY IT'S-" she screams but luckily is cut off by Kaneki grabbing her arm and pulling her out of the café, "See you guys tomorrow!" Kaneki shouts as he exits and saves me from a new world of embarrassment. I let out a loud sigh and drop my head on the counter, "Girl is a friggin' menace" Nishiki chuckles. I look up and see Touka has grown an upset look on her face, I walk out from behind the counter and over to her. "So, what are we going to do tonight?" I ask her, "I don't know, I picked last time" she shrugs but doesn't look at me, I think about it for a minute but then I have an idea. "Alright, meet me in the café at 7" I tell her, she raises an eyebrow as I run out of the café.
