Once the world was filled with magic. There were Elven kingdoms, fairy forests, mermaid coves, unicorn fields, dragon mountains, griffen hills, mage towers, and necromancer groves. Every kingdom was ruled by a king and a queen except for the necromancers. They were ruled by a single Queen, Ayaba Nikua. Some say she killed her king, some say she drove him to insanity which caused him to kill himself. The Elves were ruled by king Erza and queen Persilla. The fairy forests were managed by pixi fairy and nixi fairy. The mermaid coves were ruled by queen Oceanside and king Trident. Mages didn't need any rulers the guided themselves.
Anyone could use magic whether they were elf, fairy or mermaid they all had their place.
Until an elf had a baby, that baby didn't have pointed ears. So the elf went to the mages to explain what the baby was. The mages took a vile of the babies blood. "Very interesting." A mage named Sora said, "Yes indeed," said a creaky voice from behind Sora. "Sir did you see my findings?" Sora asked. "Please tell me, what is my baby." The elf said desperately. "Miss your baby is powerless... She will be raised around magic, but she will have none." The creaky voiced mage said coming out of the shadows. "She is a new species."Sora said playing with the baby in her arms. "What will you call this new species Miss Ari?" "A human. Powerless... The name has no sense of magic in it Human is her name and species." The mother said eyes blank with sadness.
