After going to the director's office and coming out empty-handed, we went to the cafeteria to talk about the next step. Anna and Miggy came up with an idea that we all liked so Miggy distributed the task to each one of us. I was tasked with designing the building.

'Just to be clear po, chemical engineer po ako...hindi civil o architect so...hindi ko po trabahong 'magdesign o gumawa ng building'. No thanks na lang po.'

Was what I want to say, but unfortunately, I missed the chance as everyone stood up to go to their classes and maybe start with their task. I slumped on the cafeteria seat and thought about the task I had when I noticed that Anna was still here. "Hey" I said. She looked up and waved. "What should we do?" she asked. "I don't know" I answered. "Don't you have a class to go to?" I asked her. "Nope, free time" she replied. "What about you?" she asked. "Free time" I replied. We both just sat there doing nothing when she suddenly stood up. "Hey! Want to help each other with the task?" she asked.

It wasn't a bad idea so I agreed, and we went to the library to look for students who could help us with our tasks. We first looked around for students who could be in civil engineer, we found quite a few but weren't up with the project as they 'weren't confident enough', we were about to give up but Anna saw another guy and went to ask them, she came back with a smile and it kind of gave me hope. "He agreed to help us" she said. I squealed with her out of excitement. We then sat down with the guy and he asked us what we wanted to do with the building, I explained the whole idea while Anna suggests some. He nodded and took notes of what we wanted to do, he then asked us what size of the land was.

We both looked at each other as we both didn't know the size. I was about to answer when Anna stood up, which happens a lot to be honest. "Wait here, I'll be back" she said and dashed away. We both watched Anna ran towards the librarian, I saw them talking for a bit and Anna was escorted somewhere. When I turned around, I saw the guy scribbling on his notepad and mumbling. "So, you're a civil engineer student?" I asked. "Yeah, Structural engineering to be exact" he replied. There was nothing to talk about, so I just watched him sketch, 5 minutes has passed, and Anna still hasn't come back.

I was looking around when the guy suddenly spoke again. "Do you like reading?" he asked. "Uh...yeah, I do" I replied. "Cool, so um...what would you like your library to look like?" he asked. "Well, I'd like a library straight out of 'Beast and The Beauty' but instead of it being white...maybe wood but darker?" I replied unsure. "Why do you ask?" I asked. "I needed an idea, plus I thought you could be a book reader with that band aid on your finger" he replied. "What does the band aid have to do with me being a book reader?" I asked him. He shrugs and continued scribbling. I was about to ask him his name when Anna came back with a piece of paper. "Hey, I thought I should write the size instead since I keep forgetting what it was earlier," she said and gave him the paper. The guy nodded and wrote it on his notepad.

'I should really stop calling him "The guy"'

"I'll just draw the outline that you wanted, and you guys can design the interior of your café, I'll give it to you after 2 to 3 weeks in this library, same spot" he said. "Sure, may we have your name though?" Anna asked. "Just...call me Cody" Cody said and left. "Well, that's done" Anna said and looked at me. "What happened to you?" she asked. I looked at her and sighed, "Should we do your task now?" I asked her, changing the subject. "Sure!" she replied enthusiastically. We then went to the side of the library where the computers were placed, we sat down, side by side and took out a notebook to write the needed materials and the drinks that we could make.

I left Anna inside the library as I needed to go to my next class, as I was on my way to class. I saw Cody with, what I think were his friends, I wasn't sure if I should approach him to thank him for helping us with the task, but I decided against it. Before I was able to take another step, I saw him smile at me which was strange, considering he didn't look like a type of person to smile a lot. I smiled back and went on my way focusing on going to my class.
