Chapter 12: Confession

Win is sitting on the bed right now while facing Bright standing in front of him.

He still shocked on what happen earlier at the same time feels shy at Bright's bold moved.

Bright didn't know what to tell to the kid in front of him.

Win can see Bright fidgeting in front of him, want to tell him something but then he held himself. He keep repeating same action.

"Uhh.. thanks" finally Bright managed to say a words.

Win smile softly, "Welcome Bright. I hope you like it"

"I don't really celebrate my birthday" but after he realized Win's face changes he immediately said,

"No.. I mean I'm grown up man. So, I don't celebrate my birthday as there's no one celebrate for me either. So, this is new to me. I kinda like it.. but"

Win smile happily when Bright speaking until the word 'but' coming from Bright. He feels nervous to know what the other will say.

"I don't like to see you having difficulty to celebrate my birthday. I heard from Tay you even woke up early in the morning and did nightshift work. It's too much for someone like me. Why did you do something like this..? and how did you know my birthday is today?" Bright try to contain his emotion.

He don't mad at Win. He just feels the kid in front of him too innocent. Why struggle so much to make this kind of celebration.

"It's nothing you know. You already did many things to me. This is not even enough to repay all your kindness to me"

"I have said it before, no need" Bright interrupt.

"Wait.. listen until I finished" Win said stop the other from interrupts him.

"Since I know you, you really helps me a lot. I don't know.. maybe you feel sympathy towards me because you know I'm an orphan.."

Bright want to scream 'No' in front of Win but he remember Win told him to wait until he finished talking, so he wait patiently.

"And of course I'm glad to have you suddenly appears in my life. I felt so happy. I hope I can do something for you in returns. So, I planned this birthday party just for you" Win explains.

"And how did I know your birthday? Before this I slept in your room, so I happened to see you marked the date in the calendar on your desk. Why bother to put mark on calendar if you even don't celebrate it"

"But that's not important. What important is right now, why did you kiss me?" Win asked innocently.

Bright suddenly stunned at the question. His face become red.

"And not to mention this is the second one" Win said as he purse his lips. He actually shy to ask the other. But he need to know.

"Uhh.. you remember that night?" Bright asked shocked at the revelation.

"Kind of. I'm a type of remember everything during I'm drunk. So, I remember clearly you kiss me that night" Win said as he smile sheepishly.

Bright feels embarassed right now. Because he thought Win didn't know that night incident.

"Why don't you say anything?" Bright ask, just curious.

"Hmm.. because you don't say anything. I will embarass myself if I go around asking why you kiss me" Win blushed at his own words.

Bright keep silent for awhile. Win wait for other to speak.

"Did you really don't know why?" Bright didn't answer instead throw a question back to Win.
