“I will do everything Father. I will accept all the consequences. J-just let my daughter live.” Selene lowered her head as tears started to fall from her sparkling blue eyes. She was ready to sacrifice everything she had, just to let her daughter live. Her father was surprised by her sudden remarks.
“I have something in my mind, and I think it’s the best thing to do for you to learn your lesson.”Selene looked up to her father with hope in her eyes.
“Fine. I will let your daughter live, in one condition.” Selene knew that one condition, and it was to send her back to the moon and fulfil her godly duties and responsibilities. Information didn’t stop her from asking.
“What is it?” she asked without hesitation.
“I will send you back to the place where you belong, and you will be prohibited to come down here in earth forever. If you try, then your child will die.”Her father smirked as she was getting unsure about what to decide. After minutes of thinking, she was finally ready to give her final decision.
“Deal.” She said with full determination, a mother’s love indeed.
“The Deal is sealed, you cannot take back what you said. I am sorry my child, for this is not the only consequences.” Selene was confused of her father’s sudden phrase.
“What do you mean by that, father?”A sinister smile appeared on her father’s face.
“Let me take my so-called grandchild out of your womb first.” He snapped his fingers and the bump on Selene’s stomach disappeared, the baby was already in her arms. Selene was mesmerized by the beauty of her child, she was almost perfect just like her mother, not until she noticed that her daughter had red eyes and that leads her to one conclusion.
“Why does she have red eyes?!?” Her body stiffened at the thought.
“Don’t act dumb silly, isn’t it obvious? She’s a blood sucking monster.” Her father laughed maniacally. Selene was ready to use her powers against her father but before she could, her father snapped his fingers again and Selene couldn’t move. Her powers were already blocked by his father’s.
“Say Goodbye to your lover, dear.”In an instant, Endymion’s body was laying lifeless in the grounds of Haemarisea Kingdom. Selene roared in anger caused by the unexpected frightening events. All the window glasses around them shattered in to pieces, she was mourning. Her father was never like this before. She incessantly cried her soul out, tears unstoppably streaming down her face.
“shhhhh, to the moon and never back! Bye my beautiful Selene.” She vanished into the thin air. Far away from her beloved daughter. Sorrow and grievance. Life was indeed unfair.
