Efflorescence

Four

Copter woke up earlier than usual. It is only 5:46 in the morning when he look at the clock that is placed on his bedside table. He looked at his surrounding and saw the paperbag on the floor at the side of his bed and he remembered that he fell asleep as soon as he arrived. He groaned when he realized that he didn't even had a chance to change his clothes. With that irritation, he got up and took a shower.

It was still pretty early when he finished so he looked for his phone knowing Bas has sent him a lot of message probably teasing him for not updating him because he was with Kimmon. This turned out to be true.

Since it was still early, Copter took the time to cook food for both of him and Bas.

"So how was your date?" Bas run up to Copter when he saw him enter the shop. Copter rolled his eyes.

"It's not a date Bas." He then march his way to the staff room. Bas followed suit.

"Sorry sorry" Bas chuckled "have you bought a suit?"

"Yeah" Copter said placing the food on the table.

"Wait, did you cook?" Bas asked.

"Obviously yes."

"But why?"

"I woke up early so I had the time"

"What happened to you?" Bas knows that Copter rarely wakes up early only when he pestered him to do so or the other reason was something was bothering him.

When something bothered Copter, he tried to sleep it off than to dwell on it. This results of him either waking up early sometimes too early that he just play games instead.

"Nothing. My throat itch and I've been coughing a lot"

"Is it because of the flowers since you're always here? Did you develop an allergy?" Bas worriedly looked at Copter.

"No. I don't think so. Might be the sweets I've eaten."

Bas hates it when Copter is sick because the latter tend to keep it to himself and self-cure everything which makes him worried sick.

Bas was about to ask more questions but Copter's phone rings.

"Hello Phi" Copter said after picking up the call.

Bas just observed Copter.

"Yes Phi, I'm okay. Sorry, I slept as soon as I arrived home." Copter continue to talk to the phone.

"Yes Phi, thank you. ---- Maybe later phi. ---- thank you again. Bye." Copter ended the call.

"Is that P'Kimmon?" Bas asked, Copter glared at him.

"I don't have time for your teasing Bas"

"Calm down, I'm just asking." Bas put his hands in the air, surrendering to something unknown.

Copter decided to stay at the flower shop and help Bas after eating lunch.

"You sure you wanna help me?" Bas asked with concern.

"Yeah, no new games yet so I'm free for now"

Copter went home that night feeling a lot better and thinking he could help Bas for the meantime while waiting for a new game to play. So he did.

A week has passed and Copter has helped Bas on the shop, basically just making sure that Bas ate his lunch and the shop is clean. He can never help about flowers as he knows nothing about it.

However, from time to time Copter can feel his chest tightens and he thinks that it might just be the dusts when he's cleaning so he brushed it off of his thoughts.
