Unexpected (Taekook)

Chapter 1

Jungkook skipped out of bed, grabbing his robe and making way for the bathroom, horrified at his reflection.Hair everywhere and deep dark circles around his big doey eyes.He washed his face and quickly combed his hair

The poor man had barely slept because his six month old son had gotten an injection the day before.At the moment he had to clean up the apartment and prepare his bottle before he wakes up.If he doesn't  do his chores before the baby wakes up that would mean that he wouldn't do anything for the rest of the day.Minwoo was a handful.

Toys everywhere, towels all over the place, empty lays bags, that was the current state of Jungkook's apartment right now and he didn't know where on earth to start from.Despite not having a job , Jungkook seemed to be tied on a daily basis.Raising a baby was challenging yet he found fulfilling.

Today luck was on his side.He had actually completed his task before his son had woken up.Suddenly he felt like his son had slept a tad bit longer and he felt the urges to go and wake him up.In the end he decided against it and went to make cereal for himself while keeping an ear on the baby monitor.He pouted because he felt lonely without him

It still felt like yesterday when he found him right outside the door.It was like love at first sight.He had decided to keep him at first glance.His mother was however against the idea of him adopting a child at such an age.His mother was also a single parent and understood better than he did.In the end Jungkook's adamancy won.At the age of 22 he had become a father.He never had to worry about how he was going to take care of the little one because his mother had a trust fund for him even before he was born.

Right now his life and future was sorted and in place.What more could he ask for.Minwoo made him complete and at peace.

His doorbell rang all of a sudden.He wondered who it could be because he wasn't expecting anyone .Not that he got visitors frequently.

"I'm coming"he yelled while running across the room towards the door.He quickly unlocked it.

"Hyung,to what do I owe this unpleasant suprise"

"Aren't you going to let me in?"Jungkook's maternal causin tilted his head and pouted.

"Of course . Forgive my manners.Do come in"

Jin rolled his eyes and pushed his way through.

"So what's up?"Jungkook asked when they had finally sat down on the couch.

"I'm afraid I have bad news"

"What bad news?"he smiled briefly.

"Blue moon's biological father is looking for him"

"No way"he chuckled"How would you know that's his father and where the hell was he?"his breathing became fast and furious.

"We just need to get a paternity test done to prove whether it's his son or not"

"So you didn't come here as my causin brother but as someone from the home affairs that wants to take my baby away from me?"

"Jungkook,I don't mean to hurt you but the father didn't know about his son until the time he was born.He had been looking for him since then. I'm not saying that Blue Moon is his lost son but there is a possibility right.Wont you help him out"

"Why should I do that?Am I God.Why should I put others happiness before my own. I won't give him up ever hyung"he cried.

"Jungkook,I understand how you feel but please agree for the partenity test.Then we can work things from there"

"What if my blue moon is really his son.What then?Do you expect me to just give him up like it's nothing.No, you don't have any idea what I'm going through "

Jin looked down in defeat.He didn't want to do this to Jungkook especially since he was the one who had helped him adopt Blue Moon in the first place.

"Please leave. I can't do that"he dismissed.

"Jungkook , you know agreeing for the test is the right thing to do.All doubts should be cleared before anything goes wrong.If you keep resisting then this might be turned into a case, Jungkook. I don't want you to get missed up in this so stop being stubborn.The man is influencial and I'm sure he might do something to harm you if you refuse to co-operate."

"I will call you once I'm ready.For now please leave. I need some time alone with my son "he said curtly.

"I'm really sorry.You know you make a good parent so you can always adopt again

"It's not your fault hyung, you are just doing your job"Jungkook was dismissing his causin brother.

When Jin left the apartment ,Minwoo cried and Jungkook wiped his tears and forced a smile"I'm coming, blue"

He got into the baby's room and strode over to the cradle.Carefully picking up the infant that was laying on his stomach Jungkook cooed at the tiny bundle of joy.

He went and sat on the rocking chair and cradled him on his pj  covered legs.His son.Could he bare losing him.He looked down at baby Minwoo so adorably that he sucked in a lungful of pure happiness.He loved him so much.

"Are you hungry?"he asked with a fond smile.Minwoo's tiny hands were clinging to his fingers.

"Is that a yes?"he wiggled his brows at the baby who in turn cooed at him.His son had the most beautiful smile on earth and his two front teeth just made him even more cute.

"First thing first"he carried him over to his diaper deck.He had done number two and Jungkook had to change it.

An hour later Jungkook was giving little Minwoo a bath .The baby seemed content after having his tummy full from his last  bottle.Jin's words came back to mind and made him grimace.Was he just going to ignore them.

Looking down on his son who was slashing and kicking water he asked"Shall we run away?"

Minwoo stopped playing with the water and shoved his right hand into his mouth.

"Did you just say it's a bad idea, mommy?"

"You would want to know your real family don't you?Am I being selfish?"

All of a sudden the baby burst into tears and got Jungkook startled.

"What now?"he whined.Now he knew what he had to do .He was just going to let fate take it's course.
