Unexpected (Taekook)

Chapter 8

Jungkook went downstairs along with Teahyung and Minwoo.

"I hope you guys talked?"

"We did"Taehyung answered midly.Jungkook was glad that he had answered.

"And?"she asked almost impatiently.

"We sorted things out"Jungkook side eyed Taehyung whose glare pinned him to the root.

"I'm glad to hear that"

"So can I leave now?"Taehyung asked briskly.So predicteable , Jungkook thought.

"Blue say goodbye to daddy"Jungkook cooed at his son.Just like how he was taught Minwoo kissed Taehyung's cheek and left drool on it.

"Good boy"

Taehyung smiled as he wiped his cheek.

"Sebastian"Taehyung turned to the buttler .

"Sir?"

"I want you to clear up the bar.There should be nothing by the time I get back"

"Eh?"he asked in confusion .

"Don't make me repeat myself"

"Oppa wait for me."Soyoon whined as she grabbed her purse from the couch.

"No, I'm not driving you in my car.Take yours"Over the few days Jungkook had discovered that Taehyung had a hobby of collecting sport cars and he had each of every kind that existed out there.

Soyoon frowned"We should bond sometimes"

"I don't have time.You have already wasted a quiet deal of my time this morning.So no thanks"he grimanced.

Kim Taehyung definitely thought the world revolved around him.He seemed to treat anyone who wasn't his family with contempt and pure disdain.Jeon Jungkook could write an essay about the things that he doesn't like about Taehyung.He was also jealous because the man was effortlessly attractive, intelligent and super rich.How can one person have all the best thing in life.At least Jungkook was at ease because his son's future was secure.Inheriting his father's good looks was just a major bonus.

Jungkook and Mrs Kim watched the sibling drama continue.Taehyung eventually agreed to drive his sister to her designing  workshop.She was a fashion designer.

"Blue come to grandma.Today I have time to play with you"

Jungkook settled him on the floor so the two could play.

"I think Taehyung is becoming soft lately"she remarked suddenly.

"Really,I can't tell the difference. I honestly feel sorry for whoever he is going to marry.Hes a hell of a lot of work.'

Mrs Kim laughed"You think so"

Suddenly Troy,Soyoon's pet cat meowed and they turned around to see Minwoo pulling it's tail.

"He probably bit it again"Jungkook laughed.

"Your son will be trouble ,I tell you"

"He probably got that from his father"

"Jungkook, please sit"she prompted gently.He had a feeling that it was time for a heart to heart.

Jungkook sat on the carpet and separated Blue from the cat.

"I Know that Taehyung isn't your favorite person right now but you can't make your son suffer for his father's mistake.Please don't leave.This is a mother's request.Stay and take care of your son .As well as mine"she didn't however voice the last part.

"I won't leave if Taehyung doesn't give me the reason to. I'm sorry that I can't promise you anything right now"

"I understand"she patted his hand.Then they both looked at Mint who was still on to the cat.

"If he keeps following the cat around he might start crawling sooner than we expect"

"True"Jungkook had something that he had been curious about one thing since Taehyung had come to claim Minwoo.

"Ma can I ask you something?"He was wasn't being nosy but just curious.Sue him.

"Anything"

"What was Minwoo's mother like"

Yuri shrugged"I never knew her"

"Weren't they were in a relationship "

"From eh Taehyung told me they worked together on a project .One night when they got a little bit to drink they did the deed.After that she disappeared.Nine months she sent him a text.."she paused.

"What did it say?"Jungkook pressed.

"You have a son ,if you want him then go and look for him"

"She didn't say where?"

She shook her head"We didn't have a clue but Taehyung was determined to find and he did.All thanks to you.You understand what you mean to this family don't you?"

"So Minwoo wasn't conceived out of love?"he felt his heart shuttering as he asked the question.

"He wasn't.Now that he has him I don't think he is going to get married ,ever. I doubt if he even dated.He loves himself too much but I feel someone is gonna change that"she smiled hopefully.

"That person must be a saint. I can't imagine Taehyung loving his life partner.No offence though"

"What about you? Don't you have a girlfriend?"

Jungkook laughed"I never had the time.It was school up until I found Minwoo."

After more chatting about Minwoo's shenanigans , they went backyard  and attended to the peach blossoms.Yuri spent most of her time gardening and Jungkook would do anything to kill time.

Yuri talked to Jungkook about how Taehyung's father died and how she had to take care of two kids alone.It proved how much she trusted Jungkook and considered him family.

Maybe Taehyung's attitude was as a result of being emotionally constipated since his father had died before his sister was born.Jungkook would have actually felt sorry for him if he would just drop him almighty attitude.To Jungkook , Taehyung was just a handsome jerk in a suit

After dinner Jungkook knocked on Taehyung's door.It was something he had never felt the urge to do so until now.He had wanted to avoid him for a long while.

A shirtless Taehyung emerged from his room

"What?"he arched a brow.Being nice wasn't really in his DNA.No matter how much Jungkook tried to see the good in Taehyung ,he just couldn't find it.

"Can you have your shirt on please"he tried to cover his eyes.He tried to think of possible scenarios why a person would have his shirt off at nine in the evening .

"Say what you need to say or leave"Taehyung sneered and  flexed his tonned muscles.

What a show off.Jungkook scolwed. I need your credit card"Mind you he didn't even say please.

"Come in"he moved back and inside so Jungkook could get in

"No thanks I'm fine here"he mildly turned him down.

Taehyung gave Jungkook the card without asking what he was going to use it for.Maybe he didn't care about money at all.What else could be the reason.There was no way that he could trust Jungkook.
