"There's no one, come on", Chenle ushered the girl to stand beside him as they leaned on the classroom's doorframe checking left to right. "On the count of three, we run"

"One...two..."

"THREE!", Grabbing Xiu Ying's hand, they both ran down the corridors, heavy footsteps echoing.

"Hey! Come back here you rascals!", Mrs. Kim who was walking back to the classroom caught sight of the two troublesome kids running away.

Yet they didn't care amd continued running until they passed the school gates. Stopping to take a breath, Che le hunched over with his hands on his knees. Xiu Ying leaned onto a wall, both heavily breathing.

After calming down, they stared at each for a bit before bursting into fits of laughter.

"I'll admit, it was a little fun", Xiu Ying smiled.

"A little?", Chenle teased.

"Okay okay, it was a LOT OF FUN!", She bounced, smile growing bigger.

With big smiles on their faces, they decided to hang out a bit longer and went to the park with ice cream cones in their hands.

They had to part ways eventually, but they'll see each other tomorrow again.

And also later that night actually.

"So, how's extra classes for you guys?", Jaemin swung his arms onto both Xiu Ying and Chenle. It was now recess and all nine of them were walking to the cafeteria.

"I heard you two had to stay until nightfall once because you decided to skip classes the other day", Jisung chirped in.

"Yep, Mrs. Kim's face was burning red the next day when she saw us", Xiu Ying laughed remembering the day.

Since both had to stay until nightfall, it was expected that they couldn't do their jobs as criminals for that one time. But no problem, because both were still stuck with each other in the end.

Xiu Ying thought that missing one day with meeting her beloved Puddin would bring her mood down a lot, yet Chenle was there to fill up the emptiness that resided inside her. Thinking back, the two do have some resemblance. Both were introverted, reserved and quiet for most of the times (except Chenle had that loud laugh).

For Chenle, it wasn't any different. He admitted that Rosie's presence did affect him a bit over the past month they've been working together, but Xiu Ying who had a similar personality to her was there to fill up the void in him. Or to be more exact, his heart. Both Rosie and Xiu Ying were the extroverted, playful and obnoxious type.

But it's not like they're the same person anyway.

"It's the weekend tomorrow! How about we hang out together hmm?", Donghyuck asked which led to all of them agreeing

"Let's go to the mall near our school then, 1:00pm?"

"Alright!", They all said together.

[Burn up the road until tomorrow comes again]
