Yeonjun felt surprisingly content that day. After School, he felt so happy to see Soobin. It was a very faint feeling he could describe but he didn't mind it. He noticed that Soobin was still wearing the jacket he gave him. But the weather had gotten surprisingly warmer. A little too warm to be wearing a jacket.

They started walking home.

"Soobin, don't you think it's too warm now to wear the jacket?"

Soobin's face was flushed a bit. "Oh, I didn't even realize I was still wearing it." He hesitated for a bit before taking it off and tying it around his waist.

After not talking, Soobin wanted to ask Yeonjun something, "Hey, can I walk you home today? My mom won't be home for a bit and it's a bit boring when she isn't there."

"Oh sure. I don't mind." Yeonjun got out his phone and a pair of airpods. After turning them on, he handed one to Soobin. "Wanna listen to music? It takes a while to get to my house." Soobin took one airpod and smiled at Yeonjun. "Thanks."Soobin placed the airpod in his ear and he soon started to hear music. It was surprisingly cheerful.

"If you want to listen to a certain artist, just tell me." Yeonjun said before turning off his phone. "It's fine." Soobin said.

They continued walking while a song about being happy was playing. Though, it was in Japanese so Soobin didn't really understand that much. He could hear Yeonjun humming along a bit for a few parts of the song. Soobin smiled a bit to himself.

Yeonjun was definitely right about it taking a while to get to his house. How was he so fine with walking Soobin home before even going to his?

"I'll get going. I hope you aren't too late to go home." Yeonjun smiled while soobin handed him the airpod he had. Soobin shook his head, "No, it's fine! My mom won't be home for another five minutes, I'm sure I'll make it!". Soobin's head was hanging a bit.

Yeonjun smiled a little wider. After staring at Soobin for a bit, he reached for Soobin's head. He ruffled Soobin's hair, and it made Soobin just as flustered as last time.

His face was getting noticably flushed. He hung his head lower. "Bye Bin." I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye, Yeonjun." Soobin half-whispered. Yeonjun still heard it though and he chuckled. He turned away and walked to his front door.

Soobin walked away quickly, not noticing Yeonjun turning back one more time to watch Soobin leave. Yeonjun opened his front door when Soobin left the neighborhood.

"Hi, Soobin sweetie, someone's here to visit you!" Were the first words Soobin heard after he took off his shoes when entering his house. He hung Yeonjund jacket on the coat rack.

"Okay, Mom!" He knew exactly who was here to see him.

As he walked into his living room, he saw none other than Kai sitting on the couch.

"Hey K-"

"Soobin I saw you with that guy again! Please just tell me who he is?"

Hueningkai grabbed Soobin by his shoulders and shook him a bit. Soobin stood as stiff as a board.

"Kai, he's just a friend. Don't mind him. How did you see us anyway?"

Hueningkai huffed and let go of Soobin's shoulders. Soobin let out a sigh of relief. "That is none of YOUR business!"

Soobin crossed his arms and stood there with a very unamused expression on his face. Hueningkai doesn't always act childish, he only does when he's hiding something,or in a bad mood.
Soobin couldn't really tell which one it was yet though so he just decided to leave it alone for now.

"Fine, but like I said, he's just a friend."

"Sure, bin."

Sure. Sure. He's Just a friend. Friend.
Yes, he's a friend. Right?

Thinking about it. He wanted to call Yeonjun right now. How is he? Kai was already on his own phone, playing games. Soobin grabbed his phone out of his pocket when he realized Did we ever actually exchange numbers?  Oh god they didn't.

Then Soobin had the most irrational idea he could ever come up with. Maybe, he could just walk to Yeonjun's house. I mean, it wouldn't hurt, right? Just a few minutes of walking. But for a phone number? He could just ask tomorrow. What if Yeonjun didn't show up to school tomorrow? There wouldn't be a reason for that. Wait, what if him not wearing his jacket today and exposing himself the the cold weather make him sick?

Soobin didn't want to think about the possibilities of Yeonjun being sick so he got up from his couch. But wait, is he really getting this frantic over a phone number? Well, yes he is. He didn't really see a problem with it though. Cause a part of his mind was telling him to go over to Yeonjun's house.

He stood there for a few more seconds.

He decided to go to Yeonjun's house.

He walked towards the front door to his house. Kai immediately asked "Where are you going? Can I come with you?" He didn't even look away from his phone.

"I'm going to a friend's house, and no, stay here. I'll be back soon." Soobin grabbed Yeonjun's jacket and slipped on his shoes. "Mom, I'm going out for a bit but I'll be back for dinner!"

"Okay, be careful, sweetie!" His mom yelled back from the kitchen.

Soobin grabbed the door knob, opened the front door, and walked out of his house.

It took awhile for Soobin to get to Yeonjun's house. On the way there, he found a dollar on the sidewalk, he just decided to keep it for anything he might need sit for.

When he did get there, he started to really notice how pretty the house was. It was actually a two story house. There was a small bench with trees and flowers around it. Soobin felt a little nervous when he noticed there were no cars in the driveway.

Maybe Yeonjun isn't even home. But he didn't want to leave without knowing for sure, so he walked up to the front door.

He took in a deep breath before knocking two times on the door.  He stood there for a bit. Then he quietly heard footsteps from behind the door. The the door knob clicked. The door opened.

As the door opened, Soobin could already tell that someone familiar was behind it. When the door fully opened, he saw a tall boy standing there. His outfit was a white shirt tucked into his ripped skinny jeans.

It was Yeonjun. And Soobin smiled a bit.
"Oh, Soobin? Hi"

"Hi, Yeonjun."

A/N] I'm sorry its been taking me a while to update. I've been sleeping and streaming and then in between I've been watching TXT on music shows at 4 am so my sleep schedule is crazy right now !
But hey, I wanna try to make the next chapter a lil cutee so I'm gonna start writing it right now 🤭. I'll see you soon
