Travelling in Japan

Day one - The Hotel

As the two of them got off the plane the realisation and excitement had hit them once again, they were in Japan.

"Thankyou for bringing the pills, you're always looking out for me" Shayne said, with a warm smile

"More than he knows" Damien thought
"of course, lets go find a cab shall we?"

The boys strolled through the airport, collected their luggage, browsed at some novelty items in the gift shop and made their way outside and into a taxi, heading towards their hotel.

"Are you doing okay man?-" Shayne asked concerned, "-you've been pretty quiet since we got off the plane"

"Yeah -" Damien lied, concerned with the guilt of what he did on the plane, "I'm just taking it all in, i cant believe we're finally here"

"Me neither, its been a long time coming"

They arrived at the hotel, checked in, and made their way up to their home for the next 2 weeks.

"There must be a mistake" Damien said as they entered the room, it was an average hotel room, it had a chest of draws and a tv on top, a mini fridge, a microwave, kettle and toaster, a built in wardrobe, and one Queen-Sized bed.

"I don't think so, lemme check our booking information" Shayne said as he pulled out his phone.

Damien sat on the bed and laughed, it seemed the Universe was playing a joke on him

"Oh whoops - " Shayne laughed, "we booked a room with one bed, it says here we can upgrade to have a second bed, but it would be an extra $200 a night..."

"Oh geez, thats a lot of money ..."

"Well, did you wanna upgrade? Cause honestly i don't mind sharing a bed if you don't." Shayne questioned

Damien thought to himself, "he's my best friend, but will he want to share a bed with me when he finds out what i did?"

"I need to tell you something" Damien said, worried that he was about to ruin their trip and their friendship.
