Secret feelings

Laughter began to form.

"Steve, you're such a mess!" Robin laughed.

Steve began to laugh with her as well.

"I'm telling you, it's the hair!"

He cleared his throat.

"Sorry about the other day, you know, when we were sorta on something-"

"Don't mention it." Robin smiled, and insisted they went to grab something to eat.

As they sat down, they heard a familiar voice.

"You hear that?" Robin asked.

"Yeah... I do..."

Steve then stood up, and quickly grabbed Robin's hand as they ran around the corner to realize it was Lucas.

"Oh, Hey!" Lucas waved.

"I knew we heard you." Steve laughed.

They ended up joining Lucas for lunch, and chatted for a while.

It was nice.

Steve still secretly had feelings for Robin, and hoped maybe they could have something together in the future.

Steve sat there spaced out, as he listened to the sounds of the rain.

Robin noticed.

"Steve, are you okay?" She asked, concerned.

Steve quickly came back into reality, and escaped his head of thoughts.

"U-uh yeah! I'm okay..." He faked a smile.

Lucas and Robin began to make jokes once again, as they were about to order their food.

Steve sat down at his computer desk, and began searching the web.

All he could think about was how Robin rejected him, and it made him feel a deep pain.

He then pushed his palms in his face, and tried to force himself to forget about it.

He can't change who he loves, but yet he still wants to win her heart.

He was never as happy with anyone as he was when he was with her, she always made him smile.

He then scrubbed his eyes, and opened his school project.

"Focus, focus."

He told himself, as he began scrolling through the assignment list.
