The Night Out and the Tragedy

"You achieved Lola," Nobuko says eagerly clapping her hands together, "this calls for a special recompense!"

She grabs one of my underwear in my dresser and slips it on her head, "With party hats!" She says giggling.

"Please don't." I say weirded out as I pull it off and close my dresser.

I actually did it... does this mean after all this time... I can actually become more useful than to coop around with this talent I had for many years?

The rhombus of her hat was glowing red.

"Another dream order," She says in a serious tone and then winks,"I'll be back for you Lola."

"Oh and one more thing," She adds, "I have a feeling you should start calling me Buko, for short."

Still looking at me, she fades away.

"Out of all the human beings...," I say to myself, "Why do I have this abilty?" Why didn't Aki or... Hideaki get the affect?

When Buko comes back, I hope she will endure the many questions I have coming.

Rinn contacted me and reassured me that she was now stronger than ever after the fever.

I have also received another contact from Masahiko.

Masahiko: Ready to go to the movies tonight? ;) .Tadashi is coming to if you don't mind, I warned them a couple of times to not jerk you around this time.

Oh god Tadashi is an ass-wipe, I feel bad for Masahiko being friends with that jerk-wad. The guy is hitting on me too!

Lola: That's alright :/ .

Masahiko: Great! I'll see you there! If he does anything to you... He'll get it ^^.

The chat ended, and I eagerly dress for the movies.

As soon as I arrived at the theatre entrance, Rinn sees me and then quickly gives me a giant bear hug full of merriment. "Lola!"

I also spot Masahiko, he comes toward me about to hug me too, but then corrected himself probably thinking how akward it would be if he did.

He scratches the back of his head. "Yeah." He says smiling with his eyes closed.

Then I detect Mr.Jerk-Face-Tadashi.

Tadashi wrapped his arms around my shoulders "Yeah! Nice to see you again Lola!" He says looking at me with a smirk.

I gagged once he touched me and Masahiko grabed his ear and pulled him away becoming irritated.

"Ow, ow! Okay!" He says in mercy.

"I think it's time to watch it now." Rinn says with excitement.

We walked into the Cinema as a group, as I see Tadashi at the corner of my eye darting a look at me whenever he could.

The movie previews on the one we're watching was supposed to be a cheesy comedy, it purposely sucked to.

It's already half way through the movie and Tadashi is sleeping with his mouth open. Rinn sneakily takes a picture of him, she holds back her laughs trying not to wake him up.

You have to admit it looked pretty funny.

I continued looking at the screen and everything is blurry. What the hell? I'm getting kind of light-headed actually, so I excuse myself to the restroom almost collapsing.

I wash my face next to the sink, tried forcing myself to throw up, nothing. Nothing worked, but increased my nausea. My feet were shaking and I couldn't think.

My muscles in my body gave out, and I thudded on the floor.

I'm in a coma.

"Lola!"

"Lola!"

"LO-LA!"

It's Buko's voice.

"Lola, the Incubus!" She yelled in fear, "You didn't cut the stone correctly and now it's corrupting!"

Adjusting my eyes, all I see is darkness and Buko grasping my shoulders, and she is almost crying.

The colossal muscular figure behind her was murky, and had enormous three-toed legged feet.

She turned around and pierced her millions of diamonds through the hideous monster. It got deflected and the figure became even more huge.

"Tell me," Buko says worried, "What exactlly... did you cut it with?" She turned around and looks at me with a stern look.

I remember how I dropped the dominant blade she gave me... I picked something else up and...crap. I'm an idiot. I try to explain but I'm to scared to even mumble out words.

"If-If we don't do something, you'll never be able to wake up again Lola Kine!"

I repeated her words in my mind. you'll never be able to wake up again.

I was thinking about Hideaki and Aki... and the others... tears just didn't stop flowing from my eyes.

We both huddled together in complete dismay wide-fully starring at the monster.

I saw something green and glowing. A dart? A beaming reflective light? No. A person falling from the dark sky peircing the colossal figure.

Loud groaning sounds from the figure echoed the place to probably miles away. And with that, everything became light, alive and streaming with color.

"Whose the useless one now, Rei?" Said the person who was smirking at Buko.

Buko looked at the guy and glared, "WHATEVER RYUU!!!" She says half relieved but also red-hot.

"At least I saved your ass," he says laughing, "...and might you introduce this young gorgous woman to your right?"

He grabs my hands and gives it a warm greeting.

"Oh stop flirting," she says firmly, "she's my 17th student this century, and she's the one who also nearly got us killed!"

Buko glared at me, but Ryuu smiled.

"Now, now Buko, that's no way to treat your current partner that way, is it?" he says giving my hand a kiss.

My eyes flinched at the bright lights of the bathroom, as my eyes adjust, I see Rinn. She's crying.

"I'm okay." I reassured her.

"No! You don't understand!" She yelled. "Masahiko!"

I jumped up with alert.

"He tried to look for you," She says wiping her tears, "So he went to his car searching and-" She tried to pull herself together, and I felt like I was about to faint AGAIN.

"Please..." I say covering my mouth.

She grabbed my shoulders "He went into a car crash, and he's in the hospital."
