My whole room is fill with papers.
"umm... Well it's your office.. One of the best rooms for the employees.." he scratch his neck and try to give a smile.

"yeah sure it is" I reply.

Although the room is not bad, it is airy, have enough sunlight and outside world view but right now all you could see is papers.

"have fun arranging it" Noah shouts and quickly left leaving me and the messy room.

I place my purse on the chair, took out a pony and tie up my hair.

"let's clear this mess up" I sigh.

I spent my lunch clearing the room, sorting the papers, placing them in different binders but still alot is still present.

I was arranging the budget papers when my phone rings.

I took it out of my purse and answer,
"hiya baby girl, what's up"

"hi Brian, nothing" I pause, "sorting the mess that the previous assistant made" I told him.

"Assistant? Why are you doing that? Aren't you applied for the editor?" he asks.

I huff, "I am thinking the same, love. but yeah I am the assistant now"

"but why?" he inquire.

Suddenly there is a knock on the door and soon a head pop in.

"you know using phone is prohibited in working hours and if you had done chit-chatting your boyfriend then come to my office." Hero says.

"okay sir" I replied rolling my eyes.
He slammed my door and left. Jerk

"what happened babygirl?" he question.

"nothing my jerk boss called me.. I'll tell you whole at home" I says.

"okay then, I'll pick you up at 5, bye" he blow me a kiss.

I take my binder and pen and move towards Mr. Tiffin's office.

I knock twice.

"come-in" a voice says.

He was typing something on his laptop while taking sips from his coffee.

I walk in his but he ignore my presence and continue typing on his laptop.

I shift my weight from one foot to another.

He still ignores.

Almost after 10 minutes I clear my throat.

He look up annoying and said, " can't you just stand for 2 damn minutes I an doing my work."

I huff, " I am standing here for the last 10 minutes, if you don't have any work then why you called me."

He roll his eyes and ask, " where is my schedule?"

"Schedule" I ask with a puzzled face.

He hits his fist on the desk, "what Ms. Langford? A damn schedule... The one that tells the routine of the whole week." he snaps.

"I know the definition but I don't know I had to prepare a schedule for you" I shrugs. I applied for editor not for assistant how would I know

He pinches his nose and huff, "Ms. Langford, I suggest you to leave my office immediately without saying any more stupid thing" he pauses, "and made my DAMN SCHEDULE" he shouts.

I stomp angrily out of his room. I was walking to my room when a girl said, " already tired of his mood?"

I look to my right, the only person I find was the receptionist.

"excuse me?" I say.

"He is jerk sometimes but don't worry he is a nice man" she smiles.

"he is... He is a prick" I replied sharply.

she lightly laughed, "honey I have heard worse. Hey by the way what hr said that ticks you off.

I move to where she is sitting." you know he threatens me.. I mean okay fine I was at mistake but.. Hello I applied to be an editor then to be someone's assistant" I told her raising my hands.

She chuckles, "hey angry bird, relax"

She open a draw and hands me a file,
"Ella, the pervious assistant knew Hero so she made all the templates, hope it will help you".

I slightly shock of her helping me and call the prick by his name, i took the file, thank her and went to my office.

I still got 2 hours to be out of this hell, I finish 2 cups of coffee and by the end of the day I completed the schedule.

I took the schedule, along with my bag and lock my room.

I hurriedly walk to his room and knock,
"come in" he says.

I immediately walk in and place the file on his table, "your schedule is done, Sir"

He lightly rub his eyes and slightly bite his lower lip, "give this to me tomorrow, I managed today."

I raise my eyebrows.

"what" he asks

"you." I point my finger to him, "shouted at me for not making the schedule and now you don't want it"

He roll his eyes and stand up from his chair, coming in front of his desk and leans with it.

"missy, I said I don't want it now but yeah I'll be needing this tomorrow" explains.

"umm... Okay.. Well now It's done so am I free to go?" I question.

He lightly laugh, "yeah of course you are allowed to leave after all its the closing time"

I roll my eyes. "okay asshole" whispering the last word while walking towards the door.

When I suddenly felt a hand snaking my waist and Turing me around.

I came face to face with Hero.

His forest green eyes were looking at me. He breath was hitting my face. It is when I realized he trapped me between him and the door with his hands on my both sides.

"what you called me, princess?" he asks Leaning in and nudges his nose into my neck.

My heart beat raises and my breaths get shaky.

"I.. I.. I said, okay sir" I tried to speak

He grin and step back.

"good night Ms. Langford and don't be late tomorrow.

I speedily walks out of his room and went to the elevator. Soon I reach down and found Brian waiting for me.

Hope you all are doing well. I was bit busy with my assignments and work so was not able to update.

But I will be more regular with the updates from now on.

This quarantine is making me bore.. Thinking of re-watching After. And reading the book for the 100th time.. What about you??
