I wake up, but don't open my eyes since I don't hear my alarm. It feels unusual, as if I'm not supposed to be sleeping this much. Then I can feel some light hitting my eyelids, and immediately open my eyes. Damn, that's a lot of times that I said eyes.
Holy shit, I'm late!
I check my alarm and see that I'm about 40 minutes late to school, and start to panic. I quickly do my morning routine and put my uniform on, as fast as I possibly can. I check my sister's room and see that there's nobody there, and get confused. It's very unusual that Miku would leave me asleep unless she intentionally turned off my alarm and made me late.
I get my phone out and text her 'Why'd you leave me?' and get out the house, now being 59 minutes late. It's only my 4th day and I'm late?! I try to remember last night, but can't seem to remember anything that leads to me being late. I did my nightly routine and everything, so this has to be Miku's doing.
I feel my phone vibrate halfway on the walk to school, and take it out my pocket.
'Whoopsie, you were sleeping like a baby! Plus I heard you up late last night, so I didn't want grumpy Y/N bothering me. Hehe!'
Goddamn it, it was her doing.
Plus I was just watching anime last night, and got carried away. I binge watched 3 in a row, which has to be one of my personal records, since I started at 8:30 and finished at 4am. I'm not even that sleepy anymore.
I make it to school in about 10 minutes, only making me over an hour late. I go to the front office door and knock, and see one of the administrators from inside. "Hi, I'm Y/N L/N, and I woke up late. Here's my student card and info, soo, can you let me in?" She scans the card for a moment before nodding and presses a button from the other side, and I sigh in relief.
As I'm walking through the hallways towards my classroom, I start to explore other places I don't get to go around in the school. The place I'm mostly interested in is the garden, which I rarely get to see. It seems well maintained and healthy, plus the flowers look nice. Since it's a good opportunity at this current moment, I won't get in too much trouble, will I? She didn't even write the time I arrived. Hopefully they don't have camera's or I'm screwed.
After I explore a bit more, I finally decide to go back to my classroom. But, I notice a girl pacing around my classroom door, who kinda looks like the older version of my sister.
"Uhm.. is everything ok?" She stops in her tracks and looks at me, and nods. "Hello there, Y/N! I've been waiting for you, for quite a long time." She says impatiently, as I awkwardly laugh. "Yeah.. sorry about that.." I scratch my cheek. "That's besides the point. Can you come with me?" She requests, as I looked at her with a confused face. "I already asked the teacher. Just come on." She drags me along, all the way to a unfamiliar room with the name "Student Council" on the door.
I sit down in one of the empty chairs as she sits across from me. There are a bunch of other girls either on their computers or watching me.
"So, I brought you here to ask you something. We've noticed that you don't associate yourself with the troublesome boys that often transfer here, and your grades are above average, which is a rarity among the males here. Plus the fact that you seem more mature from the reports we get about you." She says, as I nod in response. 'More mature? Haaah, yeah, wow. Also, what reports?!' "As you can see, this is the student council room, and I'm the president. The question I want to ask you is.. would you like to be a member on the council?" At first I was in disbelief since I've never been in any authority higher then a average level student. But, the more thought I give it, the better it sounds. A council member, eh?
