remus confesses his crush on sirius to lily and says that he's too afraid to tell him. he asks her how he can get sirius to know he likes him without actually having to tell him, and lily tells him to tell james about his feelings because he'll probably so excited about it that he won't be able to resist telling sirius. this works, they're together two days later.
