Luna sighed and stared at the papers in front of her-
Deaths, new enlistments, battle strategies, and various notes from all over Equestria.
Luna threw down the mail and put a hoof to her forehead. Things were stressful at this time... the Elements of Harmony were all separated, the rulers of Equestria were all split up, even Princess Cadence... and all the deaths. The war stood against everything Luna and Celestia were raised to follow... Friendship, love, and peace.
Luna's head pounded in painful remembrance. She was the one who started this dreadful war, so would she have to be the one that finishes it?
Luna slammed an angry hoof on the table, annoyed.
"Guard?" She called out. An armored bat pony turned to the princess.
"Yes, your majesty? Is everything alright?" He said, his expression worried.
Luna let out another sigh, and relaxed.
"Yes, everything is fine..." She finally replied. "Could you send in Moon Dancer?"
"Of course."
The guard left the room, and Luna slid back in her throne. She needed to relax. Thoughts were rushing through her head, but soon everything pointed to one final decision...
"Princess Luna? You called?" Moon Dancer said as she entered the room.
Moon Dancer was a former student of Celestia's, and when the war started, Luna took in the young filly. The mare is currently second-in-command, and gives out orders to the troops of the Lunar Republic.
Moon Dancer sat in the seat across from Luna's throne. Luna concentrated, trying to find the right words to say.
"Moon Dancer... I think this war is going to far."
"What do you mean?"
"Well... I was thinking... this is nothing that my mother and father taught me to do. To make matters worse, it's a war against my sister! I just think-"
"Luna! We can't!" Moon Dancer blurted out, obviously catching on early. Luna raised a hoof, signaling her to stay quiet.
"We need to make peace with the Solar Empire."
