What are you-

No stop...

Stop it please!

BOOM!

I launched myself into an upright position in my bed, sweat trickling down my (s/c) nose and curves of my body. My eyes were wide open as I breathed ruggedly. I could feel every muscle in my body shaking in terror.

BOOM!

I squeaked, jumping out from my bed and searching for the source of the sound. I rushed over to my window, seeing a large garbage truck loading itself in the driveway. A sigh of relief escaped my pink lips as I sat myself back down on my bed. Still shaking, I picked my phone up from its charger and checked the time, noticing how early it was for a weekend.

I could definitely go back to sleep...

But I can't.

"Oh my god I swear I'll never get a good night's worth of sleep." I muttered, angrily kicking my (f/c) slippers onto my feet and trudging down the stairs. "I feel disgusting... ugh who even sweats this much in their sleep?" I complained, reaching for the door to the large marbled kitchen. As soon as I entered, I noticed a note stuck on the refrigerator door: "Hey sweetie! Dad and I had an emergency call and so we'll be out for the weekend and most of Monday. We're sorry we didn't tell you over a call, you're just too cute to wake up while you're sleeping! XOXO -Mommy"

With a soft giggle, I shook my head in playful disbelief and pocketed the note. I always kept these little messages, since they never failed to make me smile. Continuing with my breakfast journey, I grabbed some water and boiled it to make tea along with my morning pastry. (A/n just too classy 😎)

Finished, I washed my plate and checked my phone again, this time noticing a text from Uraraka. "Didn't expect a text so soon." I chuckled, recalling when I gave her my email in the locker room. I opened it up: "Hey y/n! The girls in our class decided we should all try hanging out to get to know each other better! We'll be going to the mall today to meet up. Maybe we can get some crepes! (*'ڡ'●) Hope to see you there!"

An unconscious smile spread across my lips, my visible happiness creeping its way up my cheeks.

"Hey Uraraka! Sure, see you there!" I replied, not hesitating before pressing 'send.' I hummed my way back upstairs and got dressed before heading out.

While walking towards the mall, I couldn't help but notice how excited I was. I never had a group of friends of my own, but the thought of being in one caused me to add a little skip into my usual walk. I made my way inside the mall and waited for familiar faces at the entrance.

A few minutes had passed before they arrived. "Y/n!" A unison song of cheery female voices called out to me. I lifted my head from my phone screen and waved at the group of teenage girls with a bright smile. "Hey guys!" I greeted, meeting them halfway as I walked towards them. Uraraka grabbed my phone-free hand and waved her other one towards the girls.

"This is should be everyone! Do you know their names?" She asked, putting me on the spot.

I froze, not wanting to admit I didn't know any of them. Shooting Uraraka a nervous stare, she laughed and patted my back in reassurance. "Haha! Don't worry, it'd be weird for you to know them all so soon." She smiled, introducing me to them one by one; "This is Momo Yaoyoruzu, Mina Ashido, Tsuyu Asui, Kyoka Jiro, and Toru Hagakure." They all gave me either a small wave or grin in response. I nodded at each name, hoping to memorize them all.

"Sorry about that," I laughed, an arm reaching the back of my head shyly. "I guess I just never really got the chance to meet you all formally." I apologized. They shook their heads in understanding and assured me that it was fine. "That's okay! We just happened to know you because of how well you stood up to Bakugou!" Momo spoke, covering her mouth after the words left her lips.
