Surprise! I didn't wanna end the story off without some of that good old hurt/comfort so I decided to add a bit more :) (ok so this didn't end up being hurt/comfort but its fine)

[Romantic]
Sammy x Norman
Henry x Wally ;3

Norman pulls up to his house, Sammy still asleep in the back seat. He slowly, carefully lifts him out of the car and into the house, laying him down on the couch. He looks over his injuries with a sad look in his eyes. He slowly starts to take off some of Sammy's extra accessories. His shoes, his gloves, his suspenders, and, all too carefully, his cross necklace. Finally, he notices Sammy's car keys in his pocket. Norman gets an idea, slowly taking them out and putting them into his own. He sets everything on or next to the coffee table in front of him in case Sammy wants to put any of it back on. He puts a pillow under the musician's head and covers him up with soft, warm blankets. He goes to his closet and finds some old pajamas, setting them down on the coffee table with a note.

Hey, it's Norman,
Don't be afraid. I'll be out only for a little bit. I promise you I'll be back soon. I left at around 8:00, I should be back by 10:00 at the latest. Feel free to take a shower and make yourself some tea, I'll patch you up when I get back. My home is your home now too. I love you, Sammy. 🖤

With that, Norman quickly left, locking the door on his way.

-.-

Sammy wakes up about 20 minutes after Norman leaves. He yawns a little, still feeling exhausted despite his long nap. He snuggles into the blankets for a moment, enjoying their warmth, then notices the note and all of his stuff sitting on the table. He nervously reaches, taking the note and reading it, still half asleep. Once he finishes reading the note, he quickly sits up, wide awake in almost an instant. He looks around frantically, his hands shaking. He looks at the clock and notices the time, then relaxes, only a little. He reads the note over again, then realizes he can't feel his keys in his pocket. He flinches, the dots connecting in his head.

"Oh, no, no, no, please don't tell me you did what I think you did, Norman!" Tears fill his eyes. He then remembers his phone is still in his pocket, quickly taking it out and calling someone. "Come on, come on..."

-.-

Norman arrives back at Sammy's house about 30 minutes after he'd left. However, he's not alone, a certain animator sitting in the passenger seat with him. He glances over to Henry.

"You remember the plan, right?" He asks as he hands him Sammy's keys.

Henry nods. "Of course. Distract until we hear the sirens."

Norman nods. "Great. Do you have anything to protect yourself? I'm not sure how crazy these people are..."

Henry nods again, showing Norman his pocket knife. "I've carried this with me since we got out just to be sure I don't end up trapped in a studio empty handed again."

Norman gives him a friendly pat on the shoulder. "Great. Well, good luck then. Make sure you don't give away that you know Sammy. I owe you one for this, thank you."

Henry smiles. "You're welcome. Just make sure that I get to testify as a witness and I'll consider us even. I wanna see these bastards behind bars as much as you do." With that, the man steps out of the car and makes his way to the door, giving a knock.

Mrs. Lawrence answers, giving her warm smile again. "Oh, hello, sir. What're you doing out so late? What brings you to our home?"

Henry smiles back to her. Good thing he took theatre in high school. "Hello, ma'am, my name is Harold Stein-burg, I'm going to be working as a preacher at a church that's under construction just a couple miles from here, so I've been going door to door to try and promote our faith. May I please come in?"
