I was sleeping in the car when I was awoken by Donbo yelling.
"Why the fuck police and ambulance here?"

I quickly jumped up and got out of the car after hearing the word ambulance cause my baby was in this house pregnant with my seed and now theres ambulances and police all over.

I ran to the house almost stumbling but
a cop tried to stop me.

"Hey sir you can't be here. This is a crime scene."

crime scene?

"i live here!"

He let me in and I almost passed out at the police bringing out a body bag with a baby bump.

The body bag was covering the person's face so I wasn't sure if it was Ashanti but I still almost passed out.

"w-whos inside the bag!?"
I asked-yelled.

They unzipped the bag a little and showed a dead Allie.

oh thank god.

Although I was relieved it wasn't Ashanti, I was still a little sad because Allie was still carrying my other child. I really hope it ain't dead. I'm glad she dead though.

"what happened here?"
I asked a cop.

"Well it seems like the lady in the bag attempted to kill the two women that live here and she managed to wound them."

My heart dropped.
"well where is the two women now?"

"The Hospital."

After he answered I quickly ran into my car driving to the hospital.

-time skip-

I sat in the waiting room with Donbo, Wint, Bree, and Bird waiting for the doctor to come out and tell us what happened.

A million different thoughts went through my head.

fuck.

this is all my fault.

i can't make it without ashanti im gonna die if she dies.

i dont know what im gonna do if i lose her.

fuck that bitch allie.

its good that she's dea-

"Family of Ashanti Symone and Hennessy Jones?"

I looked up to see a doctor holding a clipboard.

I quickly nodded and answered him.
"yeah"

"Well I have good news and bad news..."

I nodded motioning for him to go on, feeling tears drop from my eyes as I feared the worst.

"Hennessy is in stable condition. Her bullet wound didn't come close to the baby or any vital organs so she's fine. She was also far along enough in her pregnancy that we were able to deliver the baby through C-Section. The baby is 2 months premature, however it's still healthy. Hennessy is going to wake up in a couple of hours..."

"...now for Ashanti..."

His tone went sad and deep. He said there was good and bad news and Hennessy was all good news so my heart dropped.

"She is in critical condition right now...
Her baby is fine though as the bullet did not hit the amniotic fluid. She is still set to deliver the baby in a couple of months and have it be healthy..."

Okay. That's good news...
but I need to know what happened with my wife.

"but w-what happened to ashanti?"

He looked at me in sorry and he sighed.
"Ms. Symone is currently in a coma right now...
Her bullet hit right near her kidneys...
We had to put her on life support, and we don't know when she's gonna wake up. There is a possibility that she might wake up as soon as tomorrow but most likely she will wake up when she needs to deliver the baby in a couple of months... but there is also a chance that she doesn't wake up during the delivery and stays in her coma.
The best thing we can do right now is pray."

My eyes filled with tears as my heart felt like it was being crushed.

"c-can i see her?"
I asked.

He nodded.
"Follow me."

I followed him into the dimly lit hospital room.
Ashanti laid on the hospital bed with her eyes closed.

She looked so lifeless and the more step I took closer to her, the more my heart hurt.

I pulled up a chair right next to her bed and cried holding her hand.

"wake up baby. please."

I held on to her hand kissing it as my tears blurred my vision.

I heard Wint's cries from behind me.
I know that she was the closest with Ashanti.

A couple minutes later I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned around to see Bird.
"We gonna go home and get stuff okay? You wanna stay here?"

I nodded.

"Okay..."
he replied.

Before leaving he pulled me into a hug.

"It's gonna be okay my brother."

I nodded while crying.
"i hope so man. i d-dont wanna lose her."

"We all don't wanna lose her. But pray because God can hear you and he won't let Ashanti pass okay?"

I nodded and I went back to my seat while they left.

I gave Ashanti a kiss on the forehead.
"im here baby okay? no one's gonna hurt you. im not leaving."

A couple of hours later I fell asleep while holding her hand.
