Natsu pov

I walked down the lane and looked at lighter colour things, the best thing about Lucy right now was that she had no idea what any of the flowers mean.
She could come back with an array telling me to fuck myself and it's great.

I found my self looking at carnations. The pinks and reds

A red carnation symbolizes love, pride and admiration, while a pink carnation symbolizes the love of a woman or a mother. A white carnation symbolizes innocence. I personally want to mix pink and white just for the colours and aesthetic but pink is so played out...

I picked up some white ones and made my way down.

I stopped in-front of the words most under appreciated flower

Hydrangeas.
These large, full-bloom flowers are said to represent heartfelt emotions and perseverance. They can also be used to express gratitude for being understood.

I mean does Lucy understand me?

Could she?

That night in bar felt like it and I felt like I could talk with out judgement. Hm

I picked two of the flowers, still no colour though just white, i made my way further and grabbed the elegant Snapdragon. Some colour but it's lacking something!?

What is it!

I found myself in a land of yellow and browsed through I found it!

Forsythia
The rusty yellow colored forsythia symbolize a feeling of anticipation and appreciation.

I probably won't mean much to Lucy but it's such a nice array.

I need one more though.

Lucy's pov

What the fuck does he want!
What if I get flowers that tell him to fuck himself!

I need flowers that mean good things like
'Hey you're a amazing person and so kind and don't let that one girl make you feel bad and don't be sad because your an incredibly beautiful man who could get it!'

But that doesn't sound like a flower name..and so I made my way down in the rabbit hole of flowers.

I gathered some green fluffy stuff making a base and walked down until I reached the blues again. I picked up 3 big thick blue flowers and placed them in my basket. Now for the reds!

I grabbed some red Lillie's which are known as spider Lillie's and a bright yellow and orange flower called Marigold. I found out the name due to the tags on the shelves. So fuck yeah new flower name!

I liked my array I had and thought them to be lovely but I need some low key flowers that mix into it...

I found myself looking at a flower called Queen Anne's lace. It was pretty and went well together!

Time to find Natsu

Natsu pov

She doesn't know what they mean so it's okay!
And beside it looks great together!

I was in a face off with Gladiolas.

A light pink flower that meant thank you so much for letting me have a break. It went well and I'm fucking buying it!

I grabbed a couple of them and went to find her.

I looked around many lanes and found her staring at a flower.

Ah the very creative Bird of Paradise.
It's a unique plant, I'll give it that.
the yellow and orange leaves sprout from the blue stems making it appear to really be a tropical bird.
It was a statement all right.

"It's so weird" she said softly

I found it rather funny and adorable the way this fucking weirdo was intrigued by a flower.

I decided to pick one up and place it my basket, her eyes followed my movements and the she jumped.

"I hope these don't tell you to die or fuck yourself!" She bowed and held out her flowers.

I looked at her array and smiled

Lillie's, Queens lace, Marigold and bachelor button

"So basically I'm a nice and attractive person with a kind soul?" I asked and she glanced at her flowers and stood straighter.

"Yep ya loser" she laughed

"Thanks Luce" I smiled and she glanced at my basket.

"Yours all mean thank you and good wishes" I lied and she nodded

"Thank you, they are lovely" she said and I grabbed her baskets.

"Huh I was gonna pay!" She yelled

Lucy's pov
"I asked you on this adventure so don't worry." He said and placed the baskets on a covert belts and and then wrapped.

We walked back to his car and he placed the flowers in the back.

I had a good time, I missed the aroma.

"Alright it's like 6pm now I say we get food!" He yelled and I laughed but nodded

"I agree" and so we made our way to the food
....

"So you just left him there?" I asked while Natsu was stuffing his face with fries.

We decided to stop at dinner and so I got a hamburger and fries and Natsu...well the fucker ordered it all!

He claims it's on teenage growth, but whatever ya say glutton.

I picked up a bacon strip off one of his plates and ate it.

"Yaknow you can order more if you want? I'm paying so it's okay." He said and I shook my head

"Still it's not my money, I'm not gonna go extremely far and order a whole cake" I laughed and he shook his head.

"Order a fuckin dessert or something before I order you a whole menu" he threatens and I panicked and picked a milkshake.

Mirajanes are still better.

....

Natsu dropped me off home and we talked a bit outside.

"I've had a really good time" Natsu said and I agreed

"I think we both needed this" I laughed

"I'm still mad you didn't let me pay for anything" I poked him and he looked down at me handing me my flowers.

"Don't worry you can pay for the next date" he said and turned around.

"Wait this was a date!" I yelled

"Do you want it to be?" He asked not turning around and got into his car.

"I'll see your soon Dragneel" was all I said and he laughed

"See ya soon Luce" and he drove away
